This Tommy cover makes more sense to me than anyone might have thought at first. I know Scooter's music (and other techno groups and artists) well, as it was played all over Europe in the 90s. However, techno has never been my favourite genre. But when you listen to the specific modern subgenre of Power Metal, i.e. bands like Beast in Black, Battle Beast, DAMPF, recently even Dragon Force or NanoWar of Steel, etc. you can easily hear the influences of techno and dance music on Power Metal in their songs. Tommy is a music a genius, and he perfectly understands how music works and how different genres influence each other. So he often reaches for the songs from outside of metal music.

I remember this song being everywhere, you couldn't get away from it. But I don't think I knew anyone who actually liked it. It's like a bad addiction; once you've heard it a few times in a club where everybody has too much energy, it brings back memories of good times, and then you kind of forget that you don't like it so much.

OSN... in my partytime this was played all the time. The original is not so good. Than i chcked out an other cover - worst! 🤮 And now? -Tommy's Version is the maximum best, what anybody can do with it. I really enjoyed it and i ❤❤❤ it. Thanks to you for your reaction.
