It´s actually a cover of a cover. Jennifer Rush co-wrote this song in 1984 and released it on her album. Celine made a good version but I will always prefer Jennifers unique voice on this song.

I love the way Tommy takes a pop song and turns it into a rock song (ballad in this case, but rock nonetheless). And the fact that he can hit the high notes and even go beyond the originals in many cases is just amazing. He's freakin' awesome!
