I se him frequently at The Forum in Richardson, TX. Tommy Katona & Texas Flood are amazing ! Tommy brings it all back ! Those awesome days in Oak Cliff and down in Austin watching Stevie play. The way I see it, the Lord took Stevie home and 30 years later gave us Tommy Katona.

I typically feel same on tribute covers but SRV and Hendrix are the exceptions. Also, they passed so soon that it is nice to give opportunity for those who were never saw them. These guys pay rightful tribute and have some originals too. Maybe they keep expanding their original repertoire and continue homage at same time.
