Having watched Tommy Lee in many interviews, it's too strong to conclude that he didn't want to be at this interview. Rather, Tommy Lee has always given direct answers and he says things that express his honest opinions that aren't always popular. Even though Bobbie was an excellent interviewer, some of her questions were framed in a way that could make Tommy Lee defensive. But he was having none of this and continued to tell it as he saw it.

Yes but a lot of wins are longevity wins. Tommy Lee same as Kirk Douglas was - he does not play the political games that ensure lots of either nominations or wins in the world of AA. He is just so GOOD they could not deny him the AA he won!

Bobbie Wygant is a wonderful interviewer and woman. And Tommy Lee Jones is a wonderful actor. But he is dead wrong about the conspiracy theories.
