Christopher Reeve has to be one of the most polite, kind celebrities I've ever encountered (living in Manhattan & LA). Last time I saw him was on a flight from JFK-LAX (or vice versa? it's been so long) and he was taking his riding boots out of the overhead bin as he was deplaning. I don't give a crap about celebrity or fame. I care about empathy, human decency, and kindness and that's why Christopher Reeve stands out in my mind. He didn't deserve that fate and people like Harvey Weinstein were still walking around Hollywood destroying women's lives. smh Makes you question life sometimes.

The thing that sucked about the CGI cameo in The Flash (outside of them doing it without the family's permission - really sleazy of WB and the filmmakers) is that it missed the essential quality of Reeve's Superman: He was always emoting. Joy, fear, worry, sadness, despair, concern... You always knew what Reeve's Superman was thinking because you could read it on his face. The Superman we see in The Flash is just a stone-faced simulacrum that's like NO performance Reeve ever gave.
