Thanks for the review. I have the exact guitar featured here that I purchased in August 2020. And I am mightily impressed with that guitar. The Spruce top is premium Master grade that is aged to vintage. Back and sides are Pau Ferro (iron wood or Bolivian Rosewood). The Ebony bridge and fretboard is silky smooth. The frets are rounded and super-smooth. The abalone inlays are elegant. It even has a volute which is rare. It plays really well. There is a lot to like in this guitar. It did not come with a pick-up system. So, I blessed it with an LR Baggs Anthem.

Nice Guitar! I've got the same also and it sounds great! Mine came with 13s on it and they were pretty hard to play. What about yours?

Yes, full size guitars comes with medium strings usually. You just have to set it up to suit you and the style of music you play. You can lower the action of the strings by adjusting the truss rod with the allen wrench provided. This one is setup with low easy to play action. You can put light strings on it if you want but you get a better sound out of medium gauge 13 to 56

@@musictomyears6169 EXP 16 Light is the type of strings they describe on the website as stock for this Guitar. That's why I was asking if you've got the same thick 13s. Yes, the sound is a bit more punchy and loud but playability is not great with 13s. I lowered the action but it's still a fight with the 13s. And then you loose sound if you go lower with the action. Thanks!

@@77guitarts22 if the action is still to high after adjusting neck usually we sand down the saddle some. You should take it to a luthier and let them set it up perfect for what style of music your gonna be playing. On dreadnought guitars you can have light or medium strings. This guitar comes with lights on it. 12 to 53 gauge. medium is 13 to 56. Its all preference really. If you're a fingerstyle player you'll want super low action, if you're a bluegrass player you'll always want medium and the action a little higher because they play so hard. Take it to a local luthier and let them set it up perfect for you.
