TT was the master! The Capo di Tutti of guitar players! Patron saint to guitarists forever. A great guy, sorely missed.

Tommy was a good friend. I played this guitar at one of Tommy's guitar shows. Tommy was tops in the recording studios.

Back in the seventies and eighties, when Tommy used to write a column for Guitar Player Magazine, I used to look forward to his column each month. On a musical level, the charts and techniques were way over my head and skill level at the time, but I always loved his column because he had the greatest sense of humor and gave me a wonderfully deep laugh each month. A truly great artist and funny man. Thank you, Tommy! R. I. P.

I play in many big bands, both swing and jazz bands, because I used Tommy as my inspiration to be able to play any style and read any music put in front of me. Thank you Tommy for your inspiration. Robin Johnston

Tommy really mastered chord melody on guitar, but he had his unique way or creating new harmonic interpretation of chord changes. You can learn a lot watching this video

Thank you for sharing. There is sadly just not enough footage of Tommy out there, a true master of the music who could use the guitar as a top artist uses a paint brush.

Tommy had a "Goya" Japanese classical guitar too which he used to record the "Mash" theme. I got one for £15 in 1993.
