It sounds like they separated EXACTLY for what they claim didn't separate for. Politics, he clearly mentions they dont share the same ideologies. and the other band mate also mentions wanting to "put forward a more inclusive idea " its funny to me because usually people who mention so much about being " inclusive " usually are the ones who are very harsh when it comes to political differences. Not saying one side is at fault. but CLEARLY there was primarily a political conflict that was distancing them. With how well they were doing and how successful they were together there would be absolutely no reason to separate this early on. It sucks when people can be friends and close but then politics come up and its almost like a natural distance starts to form. I've had plenty of friends who i've lost simply because i didn't agree with them on something politically and they instantly bring up " i can't be associated with someone that shares a political belief like yours " and i can't help but feel like so all the years we've been friends and enjoyed company this is what breaks the camels back ?

Thats because organizations outside of the band attacked him for his beliefs. He didn't want those organizations to drag down his band mates, so he left to keep them from being harmed.

Maybe that's what happened. At the end of the day, if both sides are saying the same thing -- and there's no sign of pressuring then (revealed through time imo), we have to respect that. Also, what I thought he was saying is -- that they did have different views, but outside parties starting sabotaging, censorship(Facebook blocked him? Man, this is why we wanted to fight net neutrality. That's dodgy ), threatening/blackmailing ect him, the band, their livelihood.... So he's stepping away so they don't get hurt. He's still got them as support, he says they're helping stuff e.g creatively -- and also he's got a stake in them (money wise). But it was a hard decision, clearly he didn't want to do it. Tommy Vext made Bad Wolves what it is. Some bands can replace vocalists and maintain success. But it’s rare and depends on other characters in the band. What’s the true identity? Tommy told me he’d be happy to go back to his old life when he actually made a better living. He never intended for the success that Bad Wolves had. But he was clear he’d always be true and authentic. That said I’ll always be a fan of the work they did together. I wish them all much success as they move forward on new journeys.

One of my favorite bands (three days grace) changed lead singers and went from having an incredibly unique and awesome sound to becoming a generic radio band. Another band I listen to (from ashes to new) changed singers and still sound amazing and have some incredible songs. And one more band I really like (escape the fate) I discovered after they had already changed singers. So, it really all just depends on what direction bad wolves takes musically that will determine whether or not I'll still listen to them

I'm sorry to hear about all that Tommy. I have only recently been able to pick up your music. But it's a shame that you had to take a step back. These are hard times for everybody, some more than others. But I think the one thing remains the same staying humble and staying honest is our only sense of true direction.
