Nene Mosley Back then all those things were around as well, positive stuff, gangsta stuff, drugs n sex stuff. Some good some bad. It was just less mainstream and less worn out of a formula. You can't recreate that era anyway. But if you put in the effort to snoop around outside the mainstream, you'll find that there is still good and positive music being made in the spirit of that time

I regularly do karaoke with my friends, but I’m the only one who ever does rap/hip hop. I’ve been able to memorize word-for-word four Eminem songs, as well as “Rump Shaker,” by Wreckx-n-Effect.
