Summer of 1983 on the tennis court playing set after set with my best friend, or at the Knights of Columbus pool. We would listen to our Jonzun Crew tape until we wore it out and had to buy a new one. Yes, we were dorks...but it was the best summer of my life. Life was simple and pure then.
@falsealarmno7 ай бұрын
Yes yes yes. The Summer of 83, then my Freshman year of HS. learning how to breakdance, being un talent shows.,crushes on girls,house parties. then to follow up in 84 -85. Wow. U ain't lying. The best years of my life. Hands down. The youngsters are listening to this song. because it was played on snowfall. I don't remember even holding a conversation about a firearm or a gun when I was 15.

In 1982 Tommy Boy Records dropped Planet Rock by Bambaataa & Soul Sonic Force on us & the sound of Music changed forever, with Electro blowing are young 14/15 year old minds😂😂😂😂 & Jonzun Crew dropped PAC JAM on us as there first single way before SPACE IS THE PLACE on the radio…that cut had the cleanest synth riffs & space bass melodies next to Kraftwerk’s music (no joke), Jonzun Crew was that good musically….because the Jonzun boys are keyboard MUSICIANS first & foremost, not just button pushers…SPACE IS THE PLACE has some of the best electro drums playing & overdubs of the time….Jonzun Crew we’re very good at creating moods & otherworldly tones to there productions….Michael Jonzun had some of the cleanest vocoder effects, on par with the late Roger Troutman of (Zapp fame) & the late Florian Schneider of (Kraftwerk fame)….
