Regrettably, this launch has shown there are quite a lot of entitled and spoiled people in the 2A community that're way too trigger happy to tear down ambitious endeavors with less than perfect results. Considering 99% of these critics can't or won't afford one anyway, it reeks of confirmation bias. All too convenient to write something off you never had an intention of purchasing. I'd bet most of the same people dunking on TommyBuilt will eat up SigSauer's rushed-out product all day long, becoming unwitting guinea pigs for G2G "military grade" weapons. What's their excuse? Unlike with Sig, ain't nobody buying a $3500 collector's item as a combat necessity. For those who actually did buy one: Sure, it's disappointing to shell out that much for a work-in-progress, and I understand their frustration. But I'd expect reasonable people have kept the perspective that Tom runs a small company and what he's offering is something no one else is. Price aside, we're talking about a boutique item brought about by passion and demand. If there are kinks, for the love of god, bear with him and help him help us. He doesn't have HK's R&D department. And it's not like we can take our money elsewhere for the same gun. Tearing him down won't benefit any of us actually interested in owning an MP7. If it was easy to achieve, we'd have stopped dreaming about it years ago.

Bruh, I love this post. This same logic can be applied to a lot of niche guns that aren't assembly ar15s. The process takes years to perfect. The 2A community are generally whiney bitches when it comes to expectations. Your precious little ar15 took 20 years to get where it is today. Stop expecting perfection from people trying to push the envelope of the industry and do stuff that isn't just reskins of the same ole same ole. I'm all here for the T7 and fully intend to buy and enjoy the "facking" hell out of it here shortly. Cheers brother. Flex on the poors🤩😍😂

@@johnneill5960 Nearly every gun, in their first inception, has had flaws and refinements done. The Sig Sauer P365 would fire when dropped. In 2017, the Remington 700 was recalled for firing without touching. Many Vietnam vets hated the M16 because it would CONSTANTLY jam. I’m not sure your point, other than firearms sometimes need refinement. I love my T7, and have firsthand experience with it, contrary to 95% of those who heavily criticize it.

Who cares if you’ve ’seen so many others that don’t work.’ Being an earlier adopter of a product created by someone who had the balls and expertise to do so has some initial temporary risks, anybody that knows Tom Bostic and his reputation know any early bumps and curves of the T7 project will be made right. You consuming content online about something you’re can’t afford to participate in makes your armchair quarterback comments and opinions invalid.

I just saw your post over on the forum. You think Tom would’ve set aside at least one firearm and put 1k rounds through it, see where it starts to fail or where certain parts are having issues. Having a gun fail at 600 rounds with a $3500 price tag is unacceptable. Sure it’s a first run and all that so I get the slack given. Firearms are tools that are supposed to run, it’s up to the user to determine if they want it as a safe queen or not. Majority of corvette owners aren’t going to take it to the track, however it will still perform if you do decide to track it. I hope that’s a good analogy. I personally want this firearm and invested a lot of money in accessories. But I’m not gonna sit here sugar coating anything. It has problems and needs to be fixed. I’ll wait until those happen. And even if it’s not your truck gun, I’m sure other people had intentions of this being their bag gun or bedside gun.
@Steve_MP55 ай бұрын
Are you talking about initial testing or when people had issues? I agree it has problems that need fixed. I’m just saying where GT is concerned.
@petercristiano40685 ай бұрын
@@Steve_MP5 I’m talking about the initial testing. Seems too many of the t7 are having issues for there not to have been a known problem somewhere if there was some extensive testing done. Not exactly sure either, but from what it seems the prototype was an actual mp7 parts kit. I’ve seen it for sale from gundog armory. So to base the firearms functioning off of actual mp7 parts wasn’t the best plan, if that’s how it was tested. Like I said, I’m heavily invested in the t7 and want this whole thing to work out.

Someone in the comments "go ahead and knock down a good company, yall just broke" Yeah that sounds about right, goes from defending to criticizing because the "piece of history" isn't running like it should before being released to the hundred people that actually bought one. I can buy a real piece of history for $600 off Legacy Collectibles and it's 70 years old and still shoots better than a T7 It's not just about the money, the owner pretty much used ammo as the go to problem for everyone's issue through email. If you can't own up to something you may have done wrong prior of releasing said $3500 then your credibility starts crumbling.
