Fixing the theme is actually relatively easy, all they have to do is stop making 18+ sets like the Hulkbuster and Black Panther bust and make more sets like the Daily Bugle and Sanctum Sanctorum. Sets based on both the comic books and movies are a great way to get many people into these sets, like say that released a modular Fantastic 4 Baxter building based on the comics and included 20+ minifigures alongside a modular Avengers tower with maybe less but at least a decent minifigure count. I guarantee those sets would sell a lot and actually be worth the money. The only problem is it's too bad the people deciding this are too busy sniffing their own farts instead of listening to what fans want.

tbh like i get where both sides are coming from hot toys is insanely successful with their lineup and lego is trying to copy them to a degree however, it doesn't seem to be working as well that's just my take. there is a demand for super big displayable stuff but only if it's cheap. the lego buster is the same size as one buster I already own but the one I have is only $300 or so. This one is $550-

Love a Daily Bugle style Baxter Building for when the F4 movie comes out. Like in a loose tie in kinda way so we can get comic characters too. And if they’re gonna do ridiculously huge builds like the Hulkbuster, I’d rather see a Celestial or Galactus in that style.

I'd love to see a Lego Iron Man cave set, you could have figs of Ho Yinsen, Ten Rings' gaurds, Tony pre arcreactor and a Mark I suit . I'd imagine it being a playset with features outside the cave that could explode, like in the movie.

While that is a great idea, LEGO would most likely be hesitant releasing such a violent scene as a play set. If they were going to make something from this part of the movie, I think they would make an 18+ diorama showing the creation of mk1.

I'm very much in the camp that LEGO Marvel should have as many 18+ sets as Star Wars, but just as much variety as well, alongside the props we're already getting. It's important that they accept minifigs are the primary selling point of these sets, and that they're up to par with expectations, but that doesn't mean the set should be poor in exchange. We're also seriously lacking in location sets when setting and characters are the heaviest hitters for both the comics and the movies.

Personally I'd love to see a Daily Bugle style Baxter Building but what I think the best play is for Lego would be to make a DB style version of Xavier's School. People have been begging for more X-Men sets for years and a really good model of their most iconic location filled with great minifigs (almost all of which would be brand new characters since so far only five X-characters have ever been done as minifigs) would be a slam dunk

Lego Daredevil Nelson and Murdock would be spectacular as a cheaper modular set maybe being £75, half the price of something like a Bookshop since it would be on a 16x32 baseplate. Include Daredevil (yellow suit), Karan, Foggy, Bullseye and Kingpin (either as a standard minifigure or a big fig in the way of 2021 Thanos) would be awesome. Especially with Born Again coming in 2024 and the love Daredevil has gotten from She-Hulk would be perfect...

Would absolutely love the opening truck chase scene from asm2. Get Alexei Sytsevich, Asm2 Spider-Man, maybe Max Dillon (pre-electro). Come on lego, these asm movies have grown on people more. Those sets would sell out in a heartbeat

I'd love to see more playsets based on the comics, or maybe other Marvel media. A comic-style Electro would be okay, but I would LOVE to see a Spectacular Spiderman version of him in a smaller-scale set. Or some classic Fantastic Four sets with different variants of Mr Fantastic, Invisible Girl and Human Torch to show their normal versions and their "transformed" versions. The Thing would be a bit easier to make, because it'd just be a dedicated big fig with no real variants needed. For icons sets... I'm not all that interested in them tbh. But for USC style sets, I'd love to see an Oscorp with a mix of The Amazing Spiderman inspiration and some comics inspiration as well. Give us entirely different villains from The Daily Bugle, like The Lizard or Molten Man. If you have to include symbiotes, include Toxin, or Anti-Venom, or some of the life foundation symbiotes. Give Riot a bluish design to make him stand out, rather than a generic grey design. It'd also be cool to get an X Mansion USC set to give us loads more X Men figures that we don't already have. Sure, new variants of Cyclops, Storm and of course Wolverine would be nice, but what about Colossus and Nightcrawler? He wouldn't even need a new tail mould, just use the one that appeared in the Avatar sets this year, or maybe recolour it to a darker blue. What about Professor X himself, or Archangel? What if we got comic book versions of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? There's so much potential with this theme. I could honestly go on like this about DC too.

Couldn’t agree more! This year has waisted so many spots that could’ve gone to something else; -BP bust -Hulkbuster -3 Spider-Man buildable figures -Ironman buildable figure -Namor’s thrown room (not a single exclusive) -Attack on new Asgard -3 $10 mechs (only one worth it is Wolverine) -Spider-Man/Goblin mech set That ELEVEN spots for sets that could’ve gone to Infinity saga, or to Disney+ shows, or even to other sets for these newer movies based around figures we didn’t get. The laziness of superheroes is unparalleled right now. I just want to see them to stop wasting their money on throwaway sets and either use that money to better the sets we do get, or start making sets we really want, like comic sets, Disney+ sets, or more Infinity Saga sets.

Namor's Throne Room and Attack on New Asgard can stay. But I agree, the others are a big waste The first two things that pop in my head for a $500 Marvel set are the X-Mansion and Galactus, both of which would have sold astronomically well, but instead we got the Hulkbuster, which is rediculous

They should definitely make some kind of set based on Asgard, whether it be the prison from Thor the dark world, so we can get some dark elves, asgardian guards, kurse and malekith minfigures, or a throne room play set with Thor and hela, or a bigger version of that with the rainbow bridge, with hulk, Valkyrie, some of helas resurrected asgardians and a better fenris

they could do a miniature of Asgard city, as for the Bi-frost i think something along the lines of the lego calosseum would be great though we may miss out on a Heimdall figure if they did, a throne room would be neat considering we'd get an odin figure which i dont remember being a thing and the prison seems unlikely for the same reasons the GotG prison listed in the video, personally id love a dark elf flagship set for the dark elf figures since wed likely get more of them than in the prison set

I'd say the bigger question is "Can you fix the Disney *_company_*?", but I get that people want LEGO to keep improving on the Marvel & DC Super Heroes themes more immediately as that requires less mountain-moving (at least by comparison)

I'm glad you mentioned Oscorp Tower, that's my dream Lego set, especially if it's inspired by the TASM movies. They could also base it off the PS4 games' version if they wanted. Other great UCS-style sets we need to see someday are obviously an Avengers Tower and a Status of Liberty Battle, as well as the Baxter Building and the X-Mansion.

I think the Thor films, especially Asgard are an untapped resource for Lego. So many characters, oden, himedal, the warriors 3, and locations, throne room, bifrost, treasury that you could do lots of smaller sets on or a UCS Asgard.

To be completely honest, I would love to see a Malibu mansion set or even a diorama and of the armory! I would think this would be a great way to get new exclusive iron man like the mark 4 or even ones that we saw at the end of the iron man 3 film, also some of the other minifigures could be the iron man 3 tony Stark and Peeper Pots minifigure we have not gotten in a couple of years! Along with that we could get some iconic scenes like the giant Easter bunny, a printed piece that says tony stark has a heart, tony stark testing his suit in the first film, and even more! LEGO or fans of this, if you enjoy this idea, please support it!

The Collector's Base would be a great idea of a LEGO Marvel set, They designed minifigure of The Collector (Only for a Comic-Con), and his brother, The Grand Master, as a part of his collection, they should include a Symbiote, Cosmo, Howard the Duck, A Chitauri Warrior, a Dark Elf, Nova corps helmet (from Ultimate Spider-man series set), Proxima midnight's Spear (a little more accured), Beta Ray Bill's Hammer, The destroyer's head, the Power and Reality stones, and a frost gigant or more references like those I mentioned

I have some set ideas… . A avengers New York battle, something like the giant flying thing with exclusive versions of some figures . Winter soldier Quinn jet fight, (with the stealth suit) . Airport battle, like you said with all the heroes . Obviously NWH sets, electro fight, liberty, and maybe the dr strange fight scene . Also the Thor ragnororok hulk fight, I would love to see that with newer versions of the characters . And this isn’t a mcu set but a peters apartment set, with symbiote suit and lots of villains. These are just ideas of what could make some great sets

I gave up on the marvel sets after the endgame figures where all of them had the same torso which was lazy as they started to become lazy. Last sets i bought were the final battle set with the new Thanos figure and the iron man 1 set with Obadiah plus some cmf. The one thing they’ve been consistent which I find annoying now is so much mechs. The sanctum was a huge disappointment being a mix of M.O.M figures and infinity war.This new hulkbuster was a huge slap to the face as this is something I hoped they do right but no and the price is crazy for something not worth it.

They've done three hall of armor sets, and they were all mid at best, but I bet that if they did it right, like include an official mk2, a redone mk 1, and the mk 3 with a mid suit up Tony, they could make a fourth that includes the suit up arms, the hot rod and maybe a wall with a TV to test the repulsors and a small floor to test the flight capabilities, I would love a set like this, and it would be a great way to get better versions of past minifigs, and a good way to get an exclusive testing mode or mid suit up tony fig, now that would sell well.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but we’ve seen them do Comic based sets before with X-Men….and the new Avatar sets give us new long legs….what about Fantastic 4? Like they could do a big Baxter Building next to the Daily Bugle, or like a Fantasticar set. Hell they could put them in separate sets in the Spider-Man line. Tell me people wouldn’t go crazy to see Johnny Storm fight alongside Spidey to take on like Venom or Beetle. We’ve seen them pack Ghost Rider with him, so….why not?

To be honest I really only liked Lego for it’s Star Wars & Marvel sets, but when the the Star Wars sets became overly detailed and the Marvel sets got better with it’s figures and worse with it’s builds I kinda stopped getting Lego sets and keeping up to date with the new stuff, but hopefully this video come to the eyes of the Lego Creators and hopefully the Marvel range will come back just as strong as it was in 2012-2018!

Maybe a wave of three (+ a modular) sets to tie in to X-Men 97? Mister Sinister's Laboratory (20-30$): Cyclops, Mister Sinister, and Jean Grey could be in it. Juggernaut's Assault (50-60$): Wolverine, Professor X, Beast, Magneto (New outfit), Colossus, and Juggernaut would be cool. Could have some cool metal builds, some cars, and part of a street. X-Men vs. The Brotherhood Ultimate Battle! (90$-120$): Includes Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Mystique, Pyro, The Blob, and Sabretooth. It'd take place in a sentinel factory with two sentinels. The X-Mansion (350-400$): Professor X, Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Jean Grey, Gambit, Rogue, Magneto, Mister Sinister, Apocalypse, Archangel, Ice Man, Sabretooth, Storm, and Jubilee Graydon Creed, Senator Kelly, Gyrich, and Trask are the figs. Includes the X-Mansion and a sentinel. Beast could have his lab, there could be the danger room (somewhere?), and some other stuff.

I think for larger fans of the MCU and for LEGO, a Marvel LEGO Icons collection would be a serious cash opportunity. No brainers are stuff like an Iron Man Arc Reactor, the Eye of Agamotto, but things like a pair of web shooters or an eye patch and S.H.I.E.L.D. badge for Nick Fury, could work well also; literally there’s so many choices that LEGO could pick from. And please LEGO, care about your minifigures. Especially if you’re focusing on the MCU! Why is there no Homemade Suit from Homecoming, or an Upgraded Suit from FFH?? (No, the NWH version doesn’t count). And my gosh, Iron Man. There’s so many suits to make, and we’ve already gotten two armories. Make more! Give us exclusive minifigures variants of the characters we know and love. And if you’re going to do large sets like the Hulkbuster or Black Panther diorama-not even that those are bad choices-then do then right. Why are they so expensive when they look half finished? Why on earth would I spend $550 on a Hulkbuster that is disproportionate, looks inaccurate, has large gaps in it and only has 4,000 pieces?? If you’re doing sets so large and expensive, they need to be near perfect. Yes, we expect a lot from you LEGO, but it’s because we know you can deliver, and unfortunately, it feels like you haven’t done so lately.

I would love a "Proof that Tony has a Heart" display case, the Eye of Agamotto with pedestal for "18+" (obviously not necessarily for adults) sets. And more remakes and new sets(like the GotG prison idea you mentioned). I mean c'mon, can they not make a playscale/minifig scale AOU Hulkbuster like the 2015 Hulkbuster Smash set, for example. Awesome would be a Spidey UCS which is similar to the HP Hedwig. With Webshooter, the drawings from the 2002 Spiderman for a costume, a flat spidey mask (and maybe gloves) and more stuff which have something to do with the costume...

You know there is actually one set idea that would be perfectly suited for Lego’s obsession with Marvel mechs-A giant buildable Galactus figure. I would gladly pay $500+ for a UCS Galactus in the style of the new hulkbuster, even with just maybe on member of the Fantastic 4 included as the obligatory cobbled together exclusive mini figure.

One idea I had that feels like it'd be incredibly iconic, even if it'd be unlikely, is recreations of iconic comic moments akin to that Action Comics #1 build ftom Comic-Con. Imagine a set based on comic moments like the death of Gwen Stacy (with a classic Goblin figure!) for instance - I feel like that'd be really popular!

I feel like more modular style building sets are inevitable. Oscorp/Parker industries, Avengers Tower, Baxter Building. You could have an avenger mansion or X mansion in a modular like style. Maybe even a Wakandan city a la the ninjago gardens? Beyond that I would like more of the helmets/gauntlets/hammer style sets. I think those are the right scale and price, unlike the BP mask, hulkbuster or recent bulidable figures. Give me an ant man, wasp, star lord, groot, rocket, BP and others in the helmet line and I’d be very happy

Marvel needs to make more 18+ lego sets! I’m 15 so I’m leaning more into the 18+ range of sets like the daily bugle and sanctum! An avengers tower and liberty battle are obviously wanted! But I think sets like a avengers team up set with the OG 6 would be great at like a $60-$70 price! This isn’t a UCS set but a Spider-Man homecoming ferry set with spidey, vulture, Ironman, and shocker (maybe scorpion to) would be awesome as $120 set! That movie deserves more! I think our marvel theme needs to find a balance between good play sets and good 18+ sets!

Obviously everyone would love NWH sets, but besides that a modular $500ish avengers tower based on og avengers movie with all 6 og avengers, Loki, dr selvig, and some chitauri would be amazing

I prefer LEGO themes with vehicles and even buildings. For something like Marvel to be so character driven really hurts LEGO set ideas when it comes to vehicles. That said, there are still some ideas: The X-Mansion. Have a LEGO set with the X-Men which portrays the mansion for training the mutants. The Sentinels. One of the few iconic robots that LEGO should capitalize on. Include some X-Men characters with the Sentinels.

Here's my pitch maybe we could get some dioramas like maybe Tony starks garage or the rainbow Bridge from asgard. Maybe one for Spider-man vs vulture and perhaps the Spider-man vs mysterio from the end of ffh. Maybe captain America vs redskull. Maybe surtur destroying asgard, maybe hank and Janet in the quantum realm. Maybe a set based of the mirror dimension. And all of these are locations. And they could even make sets based of the comics no more veichles that have never appeared in anything thanos copters fine.

well the Marvel theme will not end up like DC. Disney wouldn't allow a big toy company compromise their merchandise. As for your ''Icons'' ideas. the examples you provided would not be considered, mostly because none of them are really display worthy. Starlords casette player? not really thinkable considering the casette itself is the better icon and that had to be included with the buildable groot for value. Doc ock claw would be great but one tentacle on a shelf isn't something LEGO is going to consider as a set.

I think lego should focus more on the quality of their sets, the build for the daily bugle, has that extra work put into it in the figures, while the smaller sets in the marvel theme, in my opinion, include the same feel of the ucs scale builds. If you look at an average £20 marvel set, they include random side builds and undesired minifigures. For example, the Lego spiderman drone with vulture is kind of odd, yes it includes good figures, but the drone never appeared in any spiderman film, I would much rather they removed the drone, and added some rubble and fire to represent the final battle of far from home. They could replace the black and gold suit with the homemade suit and add the black and gold suit to a different set. This would make a £20 set, that had good figures, no random side builds, and accurate to the film. As for the bigger sets like the new hulk buster, I think Lego has to make them perfect, or they won't sell well, because less people would buy a hulk Buster that's inaccurate, than if they spent an extra few days, reworking the set, and polishing it (Not actual polishing, make it better). Also as stated in the video, make what the fans want, instead of a £350 black panther bust, they could make the avengers tower, or the statue of liberty.

I still can’t believe they picked the frickin Benatar over the Milano. We got to see it on screen for far longer and it is way cooler in my opinion. Plus they could’ve updated the Guardians Vol.1 & 2 figures.

Marvel should be one of the top selling theme. Not friends, nor technic, frickin marvel. And the fact that they haven’t been on that top 5 list in 2 years is somewhat insulting for the whole theme. Hopefully they follow your ideas and get better for this year(love the guardians prison idea!!!)

I've always wanted a set of the building on sakar in Thor 3 with figures of Thor, Loki, hulk, Valkyrie, the grandmaster ect. I would like the colours of the tower and the heads of the masters on the front, though it may look uncanny

Tbh, I’m very optimistic about the future of marvel. Last year was really good overall so we know the team is very capable of making great sets. If next year isn’t better than this year, then I’ll be worried.

I feel like some more comic themed sets would be neat. Yeah, people are more likely to recognize these characters from the MCU, but there are a lot of comic characters we don't have as minifigs yet, and a lot of comic designs for existing characters we don't have. Something I'd personally like to see done are sets based around Big Hero 6. They're a series of Marvel comics with a more recognizable film made by Disney. I can just imagine how cool something like a Baymax bigfig would be, or a buildable battle bot replica, or even just some scenes and locations like the college, the garage, the nanobot fight, etc. I think there's some real potential there that needs to be tapped into.

Another guardian ship lol I never owned any of them plus I am not the biggest fan of the ship ifs cool but if Lego made a UCS one I’d honestly pass on it A UCS Quinjet or a UCS Thanos Ship or even a UCS Stark Mansion would be something I’d buy 😅

If Lego is insistant on making replica sets and statues, why not make the engraved arc reactor from Iron Man 1, and make it come with Tony and maybe Yinsen? That way you get a genuine display piece representing Marvel, and if it's to scale then I can't imagine it'd break the bank.

One of my favorite set ideas would be the final battle in sokovia from avengers age of ultron. it would be the rubble building with arches and it could come with an updated iron man, thor, vision, cap, wanda, pietro and ultron!!!!!

The thing is, even if they do listen and decide to make a change, we probably wouldn’t see that change for a while. Since legos are planned out quite a bit in advance then we probably wouldn’t see that change till like 2024ish.

Ide love a UCS avengers tower, the building alone would be legendary but the idea of exclusive figures of the og avengers suits from that movie would be amazing, you could get a new mk 6 iron man suit and an updated version of captain Americas first suit and shield, it also allows a new hawkeye which there's a dangerous lack of. another idea i had was for sets of the ant man movies, an updated ant man suit, maybe a hank pim and they could make a new giantman. i love marvel and it makes me so disheartened to see the path its going down. there's so much potential and i hope this makes a difference of some kind.

I reeeeeally want them to just sideline the movies, obviously do the occasional set to tie in, but mainly focus on like, small and medium comic book-inspired sets with characters from all over the place instead of exclusively Spider-Man and the Avengers.

I posted something similar to this in the comments of the last video, but I figured I'd post it again. Lego needs to make more comic book sets that aren't based on anything in particular. They could put multiple figures from different movies and shows that are coming out into 1 set, that way they have something that ties into the new media but it would save space for MCU sets that people actually want. I still see sets from Shang Chi and Eternals on shelves, and I have a feeling that Thor Love and Thunder sets will be headed that way as well.

An Oscorp building would be so damn good, we could have a bunch of comic villains put in there alongside a couple Spiderman variants maybe like the Bugle but not the same characters cuz that would be very annoying, maybe a Big Wheel build in there as well

Need more comic based sets, too many MCU sets. Make them fun and colorful with plenty of new c and d list characters. For the MCU, more phase one and two sets. And we need another Deadpool set.
