It's sad that too many non-Americans don't realize why the US has big meals. The whole point of a big meal is so you can have food that will last you multiple days instead of just for a few hours. If you go to an American Restaurant and order food with someone else, you're probably going to get a few big plates (like 4) with the main courses on it. You will eat the most you can until you can't anymore, in which you will be offered takeout boxes so you can bring the rest of the food home with you to eat tomorrow. This practically saves you from having to go to a restaurant for every single meal or every single day. You just get one big meal and then conserve it for a few days after. In addition to this, you have smaller plates of sides like Fries, Onion Rings, and other treats. I've had big meals before (like over 2 cheeseburgers in one meal) and I've been able to eat one at the restaurant and then save the other one as leftovers. Then when I wake up in the morning I can just go to the fridge and heat up the burger to eat as that day's meal. It's a perfectly acceptable system and it's really not that big of a deal. If it works then it works. And you don't always have to get a lot of food. You can just ask for smaller meals and you'll be fine.

I think the reason America has such big serving sizes and so much food and whatnot is because (at least I think) because we don’t have free healthcare meaning the government doesn’t give a shit if your unhealthy because you pay for that mistake, while in other countries with free healthcare they want their people healthy because they have to pay for the healthcare.

This is what I think happened. Black woman walks by. White woman sitting down grabs on to the other woman's clothing and starts yelling because she was saving the seat in front of her and the woman walking by was heading to sit there. Other woman intervenes and takes the side of the woman walking by to sit down in the seat the yelling woman was saving. It turns out the intervening woman works there after the sitting down woman says to her; "you get out of here."

@@joshuahagan5997 especially western Europe mostly liberal and thus bodily woke, but more significantly they have been richer for longer than conservative central and eastern europe under famine by communism. The EU or at least the Brits even tried combatting the youth obesity rates among gen z outlawing all cartoon characters on candies and other sugary items like chips(british crisps), sodas, and cereals so that kids will be less attracted to junk food. That is pretty questionable intervention if you ask me, that is beyond consumer safety businesses need to be at liberty to advertise their product without making false dangerous claims but at the same time parents should be personally responsible for teaching their kids to have a healthy diet. However the common trend of western liberalism today unlike classical liberalism of 200 years ago is that we are falling back upon state intervention surrendering the people's individual freedoms which makes us more docile to further increased government control until we realize like the Weimar Germans that dictatorship slowly crept in.
