It's just terrible, everything is terrible.

If there is one thing i hate about hoi4 multiplayer then its that elitists always shit on new people instead of helping them. If you play a game for 3 hours and you as a major never checked what your minors are doing and guiding them to the thing you want them to do its the majors fault... Honestly new players should either take minors (IE not france) or should spend a lot of time in single player before they transition to multiplayer and get good at single player. I played a mp game last saturday and a new player was on japan and he got his arse kicked by communist china.

Play one game in multiplayer only to get screamed at not wanting to ever play multiplayer again. And no amount of singleplayer achievement hunting can prepare a japan to kill china in historical mod before 1939. I watched multiple japans struggle in china untill 1940. I watched a no bomber japan get submarine spammed and watch him run out of oil and resources because he invested in depth charges instead of cas nav or tac bombers. Even though they all claimed to at least have 100+ multiplayer hours on japan they still got rolled by shitty memes that could easily have been avoided had the host talked to japan a bit more.

I feel like you don't really know what to do with the other POVs or are still experimenting with them yourselves. I like the idea on paper, but you need to make it clear somehow: What's this other POV supposed to accomplish? Humor the viewer; give some tactical perspective from the other side or reactions? What made you add them in the first place? What would need to happen for you to stop using them? I don't know how long it takes you, but remember to look at it from a (time) cost and benefit too. I don't mind Tommy playing with other known characters, but I don't think that makes them super worthy of special mention. A great example for this was Tommy playing Manchuko in one of the Bokoen1 videos I saw. That video only had Tommy's voice and it felt like a nice cameo - but that was basically it. Of course this is different when do stuff like host a game together or the 1v1 games - that was cool and unique. It added value to the video and was a new concept. I like HOI, but at the end of the day I stay here because of Tommy. When you make a 100% Tommy video, then you appeal to Tommy-viewers. When you make a 90% Tommy 10% others video, you appeal 90% to Tommy viewers and 10% to people who like Tommy AND potentially like the others. I don't know how the groups overlap, you can tell better by the statistics probably. You are definitely moderate about it, so it's not going to make me stop watching. Would help audio quality a lot if tommy was always louder than the others. A bit hard with the russia palyer (on germany) tops his mic and tommy being super quiet at times.

The amount of Elitist attitude from the other streamers is very discouraging like Tommy said, I never played HOI4 multiplayer before so I play SP and I'll be honest I don't think I will be playing it, the metas keep changing and the majority of the online community isn't exactly encouraging to branch out to it.
