These are the last Aircraft kits I am building this winter. I need to get "back on track" if you pardon the pun, and run some trains before the attic reaches gas mark 6.

Hey Paul I liked the Horton fixed wing plane. I guess we have the German to thank for a number of tech stuff. I think the vulcan bomber is my fav though ..piece of machinery is that thing . Thanks for sharing 👍 Take care Cheers Mark 😊

Hi Mark, Its a shame it takes wars for Aircraft to be designed and be years ahead with technology. As I said the Vulcan is defo my favorite, its wing designs and engines were far superior to any other Aircraft. Stay warm, all the best, Paul.👍👍🙏

A fabulous collection and cool to see more... and more importantly, get some great stories/histories behind some of them. Obviously, the German jet/rocket prototypes are always interesting... thank goodness their tech designs were late in their efforts. As far as suspending the rocket interceptor, I would suspend it, unless making a diorama for display, the trailer is not important (to me). See it up with the others is the best for me aesthetically!

Hi Anthony, from the first flights of the Wright Brothers to the first Jet Aircraft of WW2 it was a relatively short time that Aircraft had been so rapidly developed. Germany produced a number of highly advanced Aircraft albeit not without problems especially with the highly volotile fuels used. I will see if there are more suggestions like yours for hanging the Comet up without the trailer. It probably would look better. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, great collection! Maybe you can hang the trailer slightly lower than the jet plane? As if the plane just took off, leaving the trailer behind. Have a nice Sunday evening!
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Erik, thats a great idea, as you suggest it will look as though the Comet has just taken off. Thanks for the tip. Have a great week,.Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul i have been looking forward to seeing your new builds and they didn't disappoint! As for that little German Jet with the trailer i don't think it would like right hanging with the trailer,i would hang the plane and put the trailer on a shelf It really is a tricky one that.Take care Paul.

Hi Michael, I am happy to hear you liked my new build Aircrafts. I will leave the other Kits in their boxes untill next winter, I am running out of airspace. Erik from Railways 187 has made a good suggestion that I suspend the trailer a little distance under the Comet so it looks like it has just taken off. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, they look like very good builds mate. I wonder why the English called their bomber a Canberra? Those little Polish jobs were used as spotters on the Eastern front. I was just listening to diary of a German Flyer, how they would go up and scout for Russian tanks and troop movements. Very popular with pilots due to handling, or so he said. You could display that jet and trailer on a shelf, even make a little diorama. Your build rate is exceptional, and they look very impressive. I have built half a dozen planes, but nowhere near your standard. Steven.

Hi Steven, good question, not sure why Canberra maybe to get the Australians to buy it which they did in large numbers. I also have a Russian fighter that was comandered by the Germans and put in their colors. The little Polish plane was indeed used as a spotter, I read a little of its history they were a good aircraft. I will try what Erik from Railways 187 suggested, I will suspend the Comet and hang the trailer a little distance below it to give the impression its taking off. It can always be changed if it doesnt look ok. Plus my shelves are full. Its back to the trains now, I am waiting for another Roco job lot and 2 other new arrivals this week. I am changing the livery on my Lima Northern Belle lookalike so will show it soon. Have a great week, stay cool. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, nice collection you got there do you use white cotton to hang them up and do you glue it to the planes, I was working in the Redditch area in the seventies blacking out a aircraft hanger one day we all invited outside to see the last Vulcan made taking off what a sight and the noise was incredible big 👍 up cheers Al
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Al, yes I use white cotton and tie it to the planes usually around the wings and tail. I can the adjust the angles quite easily. I can imagine being able to see a Vulcan taking off must have been an amazing sight. Thanks for the kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍
