This gets me psyched to get back on my home wall projects! You’re totally right, sometimes a session just needs abit of curry😂

I love how limit those moves look at the beginning and once they click you just do them over and over. Ace video!
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
Yeah sometimes you just need to give the moves some time. They can come together. Feels good when they do 😀

These home board videos are so good mate, so much psych and it’s infectious. I just set up my home woody, as I was inspired by your vids - feeling the froth!

Loving the psych Tom! Any goals for this year? Possibly a couple trips to Nowra maybe?
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
No big plans for this year at the moment. Slow start so far. There’s a few simmering in the pot though. Not sure I’ll make it to nowra with much regularity though

Relatable and great to watch. Does running, especially before your sessions, generally help for climbing training for you or do you just enjoy it?
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
The amount I am currently running is definitely not helping my climbing training. I’m enjoying the process of playing with something new for a short period though and that will, in turn, help my climbing 😀

How deep are the volumes on your wall (as in how far do they stick out)? It looks like they really add to the movement.
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
They add so so much. Completely lovely having them there. They come out 200mm at most. Around 150mm is pretty common for small, low profile volumes. Definitely don’t want to go deeper than 200mm. They become too dominating on the wall and you’ll feel ‘stuck’ under them or won’t be able to easily use the wall space above etc
@christophedurand8118 ай бұрын
Why do you run so much?
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
Just picked it up recently. There’s awesome trail running where I live and a few trail races I’ve always wanted to do, so having a play with that atm as well
@christophedurand8118 ай бұрын
@@TomOHalloranAusOh I understand, I do similar as well. Do you think it has a negative effect on your climbing ?
@TomOHalloranAus8 ай бұрын
I’m running 50-60km weeks with 1200-2000m of vert. Yes it does haha. But I’m ok with that for the short term. Enjoying this little period of time
