A lot of the time I complain about having long, thick, curly, frizzy hair, now I see what you go through, and put myself in your shoes, I feel appreciative of my hair. I don't just admire you for your let's plays, I admire your positive thoughts on alopecia, you are truly inspiring Tom, keep at it dude :) -M.B3010

Every word that came out of your mothers mouth hit home for me. Different only in conditions. Thank You Tom. Thank you or being who you are and making your mark on the world.

Nice video Tom. Such an inspiration to all those with alopecia to be confident, and able to express their feelings. You should be very proud of yourself. :)

Thanks for answering my question Tom! Just watching these videos makes me see that you have to be so brave and comfortable with how you look and how you feel emotionally about it! I would never be able to do anything like this! These videos are a true inspiration to people no matter what age! Hope you do another one soon and also hope you win some money for the charity! :)

Well done both of you, obviously not an easy conversation to have because of the emotions that comes with being a loving mum. She is obviously proud of you and how brave you have been standing up to alopecia and not letting it take away your life. Well done Tom :) you should be proud of yourself. Ps you both made me well up :'( but it is good to see the love in your family.

I remember when I told my class about alopecia after watching your first video on it one guy (who also bullied me) had laughed and in a way I'm slightly thankful he did because everyone in the class said he was sad and they all thought sorry for everyone with it and they even asked me questions about alopecia which was quite hard because I never knew a lot about it at the time so we ended up watching your video on it this was also the first time people have gained up on my side (in a good way not as in trying to pick on someone)

This is a very good video Tom, I don't have Alopecia myself but I am always willing to support any charity. You are a true inspirational person that people would look up to you. Keep up the amazing work and effort! :)

Oh my gosh tom I never knew.i feel so sorry for you. I cant believe you and your family had to go through this.its devestating.you are an incredible person tom for making people feel more confident about that horrible thing and if I had it and somebody thought I had cancer or that lucemear thing and said itbto me I would be sooo upset so just renember that you are an incredible person and its great to be different.
@maxbailey67310 жыл бұрын
Anyone who says they are the bravest obviously doesn't know who you are. You are an amazing person you keep a positive attitude and don't bring up your problems in your videos. You don't make people watch your videos but you get lots of people watching this even if it my not be their type of thing to watch, like me I don't know if I would ever watch something like this but you seemed very interesting and I when I watched I felt really influenced on you a and I don't know how you do this. You are the bravest man I've ever met. Thank you for being so strong. :^) :-) :)

@HannahRichardsonTheEleven10 жыл бұрын
I think people with Alopecia shouldn't be ashamed or anything they are the same inside just look a little different on the outside nothing to be ashamed of confidence is key because if you aren't confident its harder to take the looks

Alopecia is when your white blood cells in your body surround your hair follicles and causes them to close up and later on fall out. There are different types, but in Tom's type all of the hair on his body falls off. Head, eyebrows, arms, everything.
