I am making the stew tonight substituting mushrooms for the hotdogs. I made the stuffing crust pot pie and it was delicious, a 10! I also made the one with the chopped up tomatoes that you put in the spaghetti. Turned out awesome I want to thank you for the recipe cards and sauce recipes as well thank you so very much. I really love all your videos and enthusiasm you show. I can see that you really love cooking and sharing! ❤ and yes, your joy is coming through. We can feel it!

@@frugallydelicious Thank you. I like the name of your channel too. Nana is what my grandchildren called me. Spy boots is a reference to the Old, Boris and Natasha cartoons and I used to always say I’m going to polish my spy boots. Lol

Avgolemono soup used to be one of my go-tos whenever I had leftover chicken to use up. I never thought to just use the egg, lemon, bouillon, and water to make a sauce, but I will now...thanks for the great idea!

I've had to make many meals near the end of the month with three days to go before payday. Since I eat only one meal a day by choice, I don't sweat it. As long as I have sparkling water, coffee, cocoa, tea, and one or two cans of soup, it's easy to get through until payday. I realize not everyone can do that, but it's a choice I made when I retired and my income was reduced immediately by 50%. No regrets; I love being retired, and if eating less is the price I pay, I'm very happy to pay it.

Thank you for this video. I live alone and it's hard to cook just for one person without having a ton of leftovers. I was wondering how well that sauce would freeze for later if you didn't have an immediate need for it? Putting it over broccoli sounds delicious. It would also be good over hash browns or breakfast potatoes. Possibilities are endless. Thanks again.

I'm not sure how well it would freeze. It would be interesting to freeze a few tablespoons just to see. I did find out that if you want to reheat the sauce that it's best to do it on the stove, slowly letting it come to temp. Lol I put it in the microwave to warm up some leftovers and it scrambled the eggs. I won't be doing that again. Oh, well. You live and learn! Thanks for the comment. I wish you the best

@frugallydelicious - I dont have the usual pizza stuff on hand, but going with the use what's on hand I used what I had in the fridge & cupboard. No pasta, but I did have 2 bagels that needed used up. So that's how I came up with it. I thank you for the idea. ☺️
