Hey there, Ian! So Trella was a renowned jingle vocalist, I take it? And how long ago did she pass away?

​@@DLCOrganization Yes indeed, Professor. It was a few months ago this very 4th of July we lost Trella.

@@DLCOrganization Just a little bit more about Trella if your're interested. She was a singer who was discovered by Bill Meeks when he visited the club where she was performing. He loved her voice so much he signed her to a two-year exclusive contract to PAMS. So she wasn't necessarily a jingle singer although she had sung a few commercials for Tom Merriman before PAMS - but it was at PAMS where she said they really allowed her to learn about the craft of studio singing. Her voice was so unique that DJs were literally asking for her by name to do those acapella lines saying their names. Later she started signing with other jingle companies, ran her own advertising agency and singed with Capitol Records, put out an album and continued singing on the road with various bands. Incredible woman.
