Papa... problems in middle age, unless I die tomorrow. I LOVE bread but recently realized gluten needs to go. I tried a gluten free flower and still 0.0 even thought to buy a breadmaker and pray... still no. Any suggestions? Likely smack your hands and run, still will try rice bread in the maker once I find out all the ingredients. Otherwise I may have to send back the breadmaker and cry... Martin's Potato loaves were all I ate. Unreal in the toaster. Thanks for the wonderful show and SAM rules... congrats on your rise... amazing writer and tolerated by Taylor... lol thanks for the continued content ALL.

If you're playing in STL city stay at the Moonrise. It's in a neighborhood called the Loop and there is one long street of restaurants and shops. Not a lot but it's walkable right outside the hotel. If you're playing Westport Funny Bone that shit is in the county and there's not much walkable there but there's a great lunch place there called Jovick's Deli. St. Charles Funny Bone might be near to St. Charles which has a few things to do I guess. Not much else out there but shopping centers and outlet malls. Gotta have a car here to get to most places unfortunately.

Hey Tom, I actually love that "bathrobe" you have on. What do you call that? What material is that made of?

Great episode Tom! I'd love to have you on The Clean Comedy Podcast. You gave me great advice a few times when I started comedy and it would be awesome to interview you and talk comedy.

Sam has grown on me. If he could just learn to say Manhattan and Norton without the d replacing the t.

Why not introduce Sam's special with some enthusiasm and an endorsement instead of saying you're not sure what it's called. Ka'mon Tom, this is the show.

I just watched Sam's new special. *heavy sigh* It wasn't all that special. His first 2 specials split both my sides, I was laughing non stop so hard. This one though? The state of stand up comedy now reached hospice like proportions. Every new "special" I watch, right from the start, makes me feel like, I just can't wait for it to be over and at peace. So disappointing. And comics need to come up with a different word. "Special" is no longer correct because these performances aren't special at all. What made them special was, there weren't as many comics, (now we have a surplus which waters it down and cheapens comedy), and they weren't being mass produced and pumped out at an alarming rate like cars and processed food. It's too commercial which lessens the experience in watching them. Plus, anyone with a microphone seems to be able to just call themselves a comedian. There's nothing "special" about it anymore. And Sam is one of my favorites. Ditch Mark Normand, cuz this last special sounded like he was the one that wrote it. And he sucks.

I agree about the state of comedy today, where even established acts are writing lukewarm material. I also dislike Mark Norman's bits.

I think what we are seeing is a lot of these guys are funny on pods….but have pretty mediocre stand up. They have to come up with a new hour every year. Not easy
