Thank you so much for finding time to make this video i know how busy you are with GCSE pupils assessments at this moment. Another technique i have found is tea stain with iron fillings or bits of iron on top and allow to dry. You get a sort of foxed paper look its great fun you can even show magnetic fields with a magnet under the paper. Thanks again i have loved these videos, these techniques were particularly fun. I am always pleased when there is a new one. Thank you.

I love your ideas. Delightfully manic especially to someone who was taught strict watercolour in the late ‘60s although I loved that too. I’m thinking of applying similar techniques to cloth for a background to an embroidery. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Many thanks.

When salt and bleach are used, will they have a negative effect on the lifespan of a piece of art? Or, are these just a way of producing sketches for a personal notebook? Thank you! I truly enjoy and appreciate your style of presenting various techniques for making art. 🍀🌟👆😃🍀🇺🇸

I'm gluing down cut up pieces of heavy watercolor paper paintings onto another painting. the edges are thick, and often white, and very defined. I am trying for a Cecily Brown style final result. How can I somehow "level" the surface of the whole final painting? Would you lightly paint the edges of the glued on collage pieces or find some sort of clear drying gel or texture to do that? I am not very familiar with art materials and could use some advice!

These techniques also translate easily into encaustic paintings, however I would avoid the use of acrylic paints and settle for watercolors or oils. Wax will not work with acrylics. Thank you.
