Several machines use this design. Ive been using yhis machine for about a month now and really love it. I got tired of the faf of using 2 machines to make espresso. I feel like the cup quality is closer to the real thing than you cam get with yhe gaggia or Phillips machines.

I've had this for 3 years. It's really good. The only problem is cleaning it. Very hard to get inside and clean the coffee grounds out from the nooks and crannies. However, you don't have to do it as often. The water tank is not very large. And like he said, you can't have it under a cupboard as you'll have to pull the entire machine out

Is the milk it froths hot? About this machine?
@Karim-ik5ij10 ай бұрын
@@el6912 it doesn't froth any milk. It just leaves a "crema" layer on top of the coffee which is a couple millimeters. Produced from the coffee itself.

You should do a series of reviews for widely known available commercially sold coffee beans in supermarkets (especially for superautomatic machines) my favorite thus far (for the price) is Lavazza Qualita oro (and i usually buy them when in discount) Do you have any recommendations or favorites? Yes,freshly ground is best, but in my opinion not worth the price for an super automatic machine where you can't get the best out of the beans anyway.
@TomsCoffeeCorner Жыл бұрын
My favorite store bought bean is the Lavazza Aromatico. I have had some excellent shots from that, but I don't often find this roast. Thanks for the idea, Tom

Hi Tom thanks for the great content you deliver for the budget espresso enthusiast. I have a question as im planning on initiating my first Espresso set up. What do you think of the sage dose control grinder? how does it compare to the baretza and opus you previously recommended on your channel?
@TomsCoffeeCorner Жыл бұрын
Hmm, well the Dose Control is quite old, but decent. It's the same as in the Barista Express. I'd say the Fellow Opus provides the best grind at the price range, but the Dose Control and ESP also do a fine job for espresso. Choose the one whose ergonomics and looks suit you best. That said, I'd probably take the ESP, but that's just me.

_Hello Tom. Some time ago I sent you a request for help in repairing my DeLongni Dedic. I also sent a link to a video I recorded so you can see how the machine works, or more precisely, how it works incorrectly. Have you managed to familiarize yourself with the topic? Regards._
@TomsCoffeeCorner Жыл бұрын
Hi Marek, sorry I missed it before, but I saw it now. You have to flip the steam switch, and keep steaming. If you flip it back, then the machine will go back to coffee mode after 10 seconds, and will require you to cool down the boiler. Cheers, Tom
@Mareksempai Жыл бұрын
Thanks Tom for the quick reply. However, it is not about cooling down, but about the time needed to create steam to heat the milk. After turning the milk knob, it works for a very short time and then turns off itself, switching to the cooling mode of the bottle. Cannot froth milk. The brewing process itself is also very short for a single or double espresso. It takes a few seconds. I regenerated the Ulka pump and it should work properly. What controls the milk frother and the coffee brewing time? Do you have any idea? I will be grateful for any suggestion. Kind regards.

While I appreciate the emphasis on the “German Design” which creates the “illusion” of quality, I am not a fan of not making where it is made equally important. Too many manufacturers brag about the design and engineering but hide behind the country of manufacturer. With that being said, I am NOT a hypocrite. I am thoroughly satisfied with many of my daily products that I use that are manufactured in China. Where my problem lies is the deception from companies trying to trick the uneducated consumer into thinking they are getting something they are not. I bet there are hundreds of folks out there bragging about their new espresso machine that was made in Germany. 😢
@TomsCoffeeCorner7 ай бұрын
True. In the meantime, I’ve found out that this is a white label product, being sold under different names. So, that makes it even more confusing to know where the dressing really came from.
