I think the grinder is the same as in all Delonghi machines. But that's a good point, I can remove it and show it in the review.

Hi Tom, I'm pretty new to your channel and am really enjoying it!! Great information. I'm trying to decide on a new super Automatic. Looking at De'Longhi Dinamica Plus Connect or Jure E8. The Jura is beautiful but requires so many additional accessories. Your recommendation would help me decide. TIA

@@alreade8477 I’d honestly go for the Dinamica myself, as its brew group is accessible, and so is the grinder. I think Jura makes a good cup, but I’d like to be able to fix things myself if required. Cheers!

@@superamario6464 I’ve not used the Soul myself, but I think it has two grinders, that even change the grind size as needed for different drinks automatically, which is awesome! I’d probably get that one over the Rivelia for that price difference.

Ah thanks replying mate. Really appreciate your guidance. The other point to note is that dark beans leave an oily residue in Rivelia. There is no way to clean the grinder burr so there is a chance you would need to send the Rivelia back for service. Either that or use normal brand after dark beans to remove the oil. Which is a shame as I love dark roast. I think my mind is made up now as the Soul grinder can be removed and cleaned

Newer Jura is trying to make it more compact by taking water container out from the equation, but they makes it nicer, as the side-mounted water jar looks more exquisite.

6:42 I’d rather use fresh beans for one, and use ground coffee for decaf, than using two hoppers, because there’s no way I can immediately using beans from the other hopper as there’s heaps of residue beans at the burr before I can start using beans from the other hopper.

That's a good point. But it seems a lot of people were asking for a 2 hopper solution, so they made it. I will try it out over the next couple of weeks and see how I like the hopper swapping.
