The 100U8K routinely goes on sale for less than $5k, and its picture quality blows this and any other sub-$5k projector out of the water! There are plenty of KZbin videos within the home theatre community out there to back this up.

😂😂😂 LVOE everthing about this. D only thing I wish Hisense use is NOT this remote. It got rid of --fast forward /back rewind keys . The 2021 U8G remote are Significantly better. I suggest you look up U8G remote. U can find 1 online. I own 2 Hisense u8 series. That U8G remote is the BEST. 😊

I guesss some ppl dont have door large enough to get thru the wall. My 85” arrived could NOT turn in side of door stuck. Had to like pull it back in hall way like UN Boxing--in front of Elevator. Lmao a --UBER Eats guy …ding door open appear right behind the TV. We had to rage move the tv side ways to get the guy get out of elevator to delliver food at 11pm lol. 😂 the box is huge. I heard 4 grown man managed ot move it up. Almost did NOT fit the elevator. I dont think that elevator would handle 100” which sucks. The 100” U8K is --GOAT.

If you’re getting a UST laser projector from Hisense, the 120” model is the only one to get for a large room and for immersion … and the ceiling should be painted black, like in a cinema!

3:50 for me I'd have to paint the ceiling matt black or use some sort of felt because that reflection on the ceiling is atrociously distracting. I know I would constantly have my eye's dart to look there because it becomes like a peripheral view distraction.

Recently Hisense and I think maybe TCL offered 98" TVs for $3-5000 dollars. I would take those at any time over UST Laser right now. They are brighter, pure 4K and offer more and have better contrast etc. Even UST Lasers are now becoming almost pointless given that these TVs exist. Sure the 110-115" version from those companies will cost a bundle. But the 98" not so much. TCL will have 98" TVs in Q7 and Q8. Maybe even Q6. I bet at least one of those will be $5K or even less when on sale. These Laser UST simple cannot beat those in contrast. And even a lower end LCD version would still offer better contrast and brightness etc.

One big advantage for me at least with a 100 inch UST projector versus a TV is weight. Moving a 100 inch TV is a two person job...and you need a large enough and sturdy enough cabinet to set it on. Then because stands are so flimsy, you have to be a bit concerned for children to knock it over.

I my get my done next weekend I'm Handicapped, call my son. I am hoping my son-in-law Help us can move furniture and rearrange furniture, but I'm excited. When I was good and healthy and working, I got a 300 "projector TV. How I saw the laser? Yeah, as a game changer.

I just got the Vava ust 4k for $900 and the matching "100 vava alr screen for $440. Amazing quality but better deal. 😊😊. Not good for gaming at all but great 4 everything else.

The UST is sitting way too high on that TV stand, I have the 120” at 42cm (16.5”) and I think it’s still a little high.

Hard pass....at least between Nov 2024 and Jan 2025. Hisense had there lesser 100" model for under $2000, which privides a picture better than any projector in a brightly lit room.
