You are a fabulous person. This Keurig was not but a month old. One of the K pods did not puncture and so it filled the needles up with coffee grounds, thus causing it to shut off to prevent overflow. Muahhhhh!!!

WOW! Thank you! I rescued a Keurig Slim from the garbage at work. It was only doing a few drips...then it sat in my laundry room for months. I checked this morning...and not a drop was coming out. I decided to google how to take it apart and found your video. With hope, I cleaned the bottom needle...seemed normal. Then looked at the top, and it had lots of black stuff. Paperclipped it, and first run had steam (progress), but no water. Paperclipped again, and 2nd run was a full 8 ounces of beautiful hot water!! I'm so excited!!

This was very helpful!! Literally had another keurig in my cart on amazon but couldn't bring myself to buy another one until I tried out all the options. My K-Slim would take multiple button presses to start the brewing process, sometimes during which it would stop midway through, taking multiple restarts (I had my Keurig for over a year). I decided to try and clean the needle and came across your video, being skeptical that it would work. And lo and behold, Keurig started brewing with no issues! I did a rinse test and a lot of gunk was pouring through. I then brewed another coffee (decaf) and it brewed with no problem! Will definitely keep this mind in the future! Thanks for your video!

Thanks for all the vids on the Keurig units...DESCALE was awesome and worked. I cleaned both needles as demonstrated in this video however I can only brew an 8 oz cup of coffee. When I choose 10 or 12...you got it....I get 8 ounces. The spring in the water reservoir is clean, no gunk. Any other suggestions on correcting the number of ounces delivered? Thanks

I have the Keurig K slim with the 5 holes. Besides from it splattering all over when it is finished with the brew cycle it drips for quit a few seconds. The 1 hole Keurig use to get all the coffee out but the 5 hole doesn't. Any suggestions

My Kurieg K-cup dribbles for about a minuite after done brewing then heats up and dribbles some more about another ounce of coffee then dripps for a while. I have cleaned the needles etc and even did the reset using the buttons. Can you help?

I just used the Descaling solution for the first time. I did as directed. The Descaling solution ran through and instead of saying add water, it turned off and will not turn back on?! Help!

Wow, you are not the first person who has had this problem, I would call keurig customer support they are really good to talk too. 1-866-901-2739 You could try to unplug it and plug it back in after 5min. also maybe put it back into descale mode by pressing the 8oz and 12oz button with the power button off. then the descale light will come back on. Just run water through it and then refill it again and finish with more water. Sorry about this.

I watched this video on your recommendation because descale did not work for me. Both needles are clean. All it does is growl for a couple of seconds and shuts off. What is the life span of these? Mine is not even 2 years old and maybe gets used every other day... any other suggestions?

they should last longer than 2 years, Make sure the water tank is clean and check the plunger at the bottom you your water tank. push on the plunger with your finger from the bottom and make sure water comes out of the tank, it sounds like its not getting water into the machine. next take the tank off and where the water goes into the machine push on that plunger with your finger and see if you see water in the tube. push really hard a couple time with water on that plunger to maybe like prime it with your finger using water, then fill the water tank up and put in onto the machine and lift if up and down a bunch to make sure water is getting from the tank to the machine. next if that does not work, take the water tank off and drip tray. unplug it and turn it upside down and shake it really hard upside down. sometimes they get an air pocket in the lines. Sorry about this but it might be worth giving Keurig a call, its out of warranty but they might give you a coupon for so much off your next coffee maker.

I will try my best. How did it go with cleaning the needles. Is the bottom needle basket completely clean. the part that you remove below the needle (little cup like with 4 holes in bottom). Take apart the bottom needle and basket run lots of water through the needle and basket and clean with a brush. If this is not it I would again try to clean the upper needle and each time do a fresh water rinse with no k cup in the machine. and keep trying to clean the top needle. Let me know how it goes.

This is when I stumbled across your video. However, the descale light is still on. After flushing the reservoir with the cleaning solution and then doing like 20+ flushes with fresh water and cleaning the needles again. What do you think could be wrong?
