Hoover SmartWash Carpet Cleaner Comparison What is Different With The Purple One

Thanks so much! I have a really old Hoover version that my grandma gave to me about 12 years ago and she had it long before that! I've used the crap out of it (its been great but finally failed after multiple diy repairs). I have two cats and I knew that I wanted a Hoover, but I was stuck on the differences between these two! This helped me decide! Only thing I wondered still after watching was if the use of the spot chaser on the carpet that the turquoise one cleaned, and after all the other testing was done, if it would have helped remove the remaining stain? Video was great and super informative! I subscribed and thank you so much!!!!!!!!

Thank you... Was thinking and wondering what to do and found a recommendation for this on Good Housekeeping but $400 in Canada Amazon. Have MS and awful carpets and little senior dog who has incontinence. Going to take the plunge and with the PURPLE! You made my day and made my decision!!!!! So you can just buy the spot cleaner, and put it in a plastic spray bottle and pay a lot less for the blue machine.

@@YomAlwa3eed I love it. I follow the instructions and yes I’m more than pleased. It cleans, it provides some heat to break up grime and dirt. Excellent suction and easy to use👌👍🤗

Great video! Are the brush rolls made from the same material on the regular SmartWash and the SmartWash Pet? IOW is it just the color that’s different? I can’t get an answer from Hoover. (BTW, an extremely experienced contractor who works with tile and who cleaned our kitchen floor tile and grout swears by the SmartWash machine for tile floors too, not just carpet.)

I have the Turquoise one. I didn't have an hour run time on mine and it quit sucking water out of the carpet. I vacuumed the carpet prior to. TOTAL JUNK DO NOT BUY. Things are WAY TO FINICKY. You have to take all the stuff off in order to reset the brushes but it still won't suck and I don't see any clogs.

I was watching another video and it showed this having slightly more suction power than the Bissell 2xl and the big thing on this is the tank is bigger. That's why I'm getting this one. I don't want to keep emptying the tank

The purple one definitely seems better. I own the turquoise model. It’s good, but the purple one seems great

just bought the pet version on the 7th of October. the machine was delivered on the 10th. but it didn't come with the red roller mat. ask the sales and support. they couldn't provide one.
