Thanks!! It’s nice when able to set up parts on the welding fixture table, get it clean as possible, and be in a comfortable position to weld…a lot different than climbing under a boat or laying on my back to weld leaks or accessories onto boats!! I hope that your shower install video goes nuts!! Super applicable to all the folks along the gulf and everywhere else in the salt with pontoon boats!

HAHA! It's amazing. We bring boats in that have been out in the cold and within a few days of being in the warm shop those spiders are crawling around EVERYWHERE!!! Got a boat from Kentucky we'll be starting on soon and that thing has already shown some big juicy spiders!

Another awesome build. I have that same helm seat. Wish it adjusted on the upright. Like the smaller seat but miss that ability. Oh where is that awesome swim ladder 🎉

Thank you! Yes, that seat would be really nice to have the low back option WITH reclining capabilities, but it's still a very comfortable helm chair. I had the same one on a restoration I did on our own boat and loved it. The swim ladder moved over to the port side door! I am so bummed I forgot to show that!

@@piper8463neither have I. I can see it being a potential thing to get in the way, but at the same time I think it’s the best option possible for a side entry ladder. Now days the stern entry telescoping ladder makes the most sense all around.

Greetings Tom! The vintage retro restores are the coolest 😎 to admire. The Lowe Classic appeared to be narrower. Was it an 8 ft. width? Have you ever replaced the stripping on the rail panels, and is that a product that PontoonStuff sells? That was an outstanding reinforcement repair to the hardtop supports. The break points looked dangerous if left unattended. I can imagine the stress the original design underwent from wind, waves, and vibration. A few mor cruses and that hard top may have went airborne. The 4 stroke upgrade should contribute to the longevity of that issue, add the Tom love makes the top a non-issue. Another Great job!

Pontoon Stuff does sell some vinyl decal kits, but not necessarily pin striping like this one has. I've not played around with those kits, but I've seen boats that have used them and they're sharp looking. This boat was 8' wide. Trailering this boat with the broken support bracket was a bit unsettling. Much better taking it back to the owner with the repairs done, and it should hold up better than it was even built to now that it's been rebuilt stronger. I sure do love aluminum for the fact that I can cut it apart, remake parts, and beef up entire structural components!

I bet, heck, that top could have detached on the tow the way it looked, especially if you guys were experiencing the winds we've had in the lower eastern part of the glove. I'm glad it was a safe pickup and delivery. I bet you can feel the drag of that hard top when towing. Pin stripping: Roush dedicated an entire large area to that craft. I was amazed how the specialists could paint or lay those lines down without imperfections and even simatry on both sides. It was a fading craft that once was a valued way to accessorize. To do so today may even demand a premium rate above rates of old, but I can't confirm. To request the service is all but guaranteed to be performed by a custom detail shop or that guy that all of the collectors know.

@@awakenedtotruth8419 I know that my old man still gets any car or truck he buys pin striped before it leaves the dealer's lot...so there must be some mobile detailers/shops who are able to make it happen. I've seen some videos of folks striping their freshly painted panels on pontoons, so it can happen!

Your new furniture layout deleted the cool side mounted ladder, what did he end up with for a ladder to swim off the boat? I missed that in the video?

I noticed that I left that out on the after and it made me so bummed!! I moved it to the opposite side, so all good keeping that cool ladder!!

@@tyrellgarcia1112 The only place I've seen them is called J's Upper Decks. Prices there look like they start around $5,000 for a 10' long upper deck, and I'm sure there's some freight shipping added on. Another welder near me called asking if I wanted to take on the project of building one for his customer who was asking him about it. That welder knows all I do is play with pontoon boats all day. He said to build one custom he would likely charge somewhere around $8,000 to $10,000 after labor and materials. Your best bet might be to find a local welder/fabricator to build one custom to your boat so that the fit-up is as perfect as possible.
