These videos are more useful than any book i've read including the ching books, Edward Allen books etc....concise, detailed, brilliantly explained, paced and repeated; fantastic and thank you! Mr. Stephenson really understands the mindset of a student; a great teacher.

Are joist placed along shorter span or longer span of foundation wall??

Generally joists span the shorter distances as it requires less strength but sometimes it can span the longer distance but more rarely.
