Seeing as Madvillainy just turned 20, it seems like a good time to post this unseen footage of Doom & Madlib performing in London. This was filmed in 2012, and looking back at this, it feels like they were both having fun! A little moment in time with two of the most creative and talented minds in Hip-hop.

I was lucky enough to be at this gig, it was at HMV Forum, London, on 12th October 2012. DOOM does the MoBot at the end of his set as we hosted the Olympics 4 months earlier and that was the celebration Mo Farah did after his 2 gold medals. Daniel Dumile (MF DOOM) is my all time favourite artist and I consider Madvillany and Mm..Food to be 2 of the greatest albums ever recorded.

I think it was funny for DOOM to send imposters to his concerts, but he was a great performer and it was pretty messed up to cheat the fans like that. I've heard the Expektoration live album. I'd be expecting one of the best concerts of my life. Getting pranked by an imposter would be more crushing than "oh haha that's cool because he's a villain character."
