@@marita2g It's one of the things about Floor that is so likeable. It's Marko's turn to shine. She could have gone for a break and and only showed up for her bit. Her attitude could have been, since she had nothing to do, why be there when she could be relaxing and getting a drink? She could have been on stage the whole time twirling about and pulling attention away from Marko, but no. She sits quietly, almost unnoticeable in the darkness, supporting Marko simply by sitting and listening to him sing. Then she starts singing backing vocals while still seated, until it's time to get up to the mic stand. Quintessential team player.

Marco has been in this business a long time. He's somewhat a legend in Finland. His first band Tarot from 1984 with his brother, check out Tarot Tides live is a bit of a ballad, His solo album is also great. He's also has a number of side projects, Northern Kings, powerless Trio, Raskasta Joulua (Metal Christmas shows) , All Hietala power Trio with his brother and son. He also worked with a number of artists like Delain, Jonas and I, Ayreon (Theory of everything). He is such a versatile vocalist.

This was filmed around time when Paris terrorist attack happened. And Nightwish didnt cancel their show in Paris like many other bands did. They played in Paris only maybe two weeks or week after the horrible attack.

I think you must go to a double reaction of the songs from now on - the first one you just disappear into the song - as you should do. The second round to discover what is actually going on, on the stage 😉 Floor was there the whole time - and Troy's E-bow!!! phenomenal. But that's how Nightwish works on music lovers - I still find new details - and I was at the concert AND have watched the concert 1000 times st home - still finds new details. 🙄 But how about getting Troy up in front as a singer as well - with Floor doing backup?? The Carpenter, Buenos Aires 2018 or some other ballads: Sleeping Sun, Tampere 2015 - Floor spellbounding 22.000 The Islander, Tampere 2015 - Marko spellbounding 22.000 *** And you are so spot on - this band delivers experiences. And they are completely down to Earth. You're right. This is real music and that is withheld from all of us by radio stations around the world. If we don't look for and discover ourselves, we wouldn't even get to hear something like that. It's a shame that only shit is on the radio and television. Marco is also a solo singer. He also has his own youtube channel like Floor. He and Floor are actually shown in the small windows in almost every Nightwish video in the end. Just click on it when you see Marco there. 😉

Actually this is not really a Nightwish song. Tuomas wrote it for the film Lieksa/The Matriarch. "The Matriarch - full movie" on YT. English subtitles available, very handy for those who do not understand Finnish...or Vietnamese. Lieksa is a town in Finland. There is also the official music video to this song with clips from the movie. Someone told Nightwish put this song to the setlist when they played in Paris France, (not Paris Texas lol), soon after the terrorist attack to the Rock Club Battaglan(?), correct me if I'm wrong with the name. Was there almost 100 people who died? Many other bands cancelled their concerts there. Edit: Bataclan, 89 murdered.

Tuomas wrote this song (score) for a Finnish film 'The Matriarch' in 2007. There is an Official Music Video showing clips of the movie as Marko walks thru the movie set past the actors. Tuomas is seen following a few paces behind him, staring into the camera sometimes mouthing unknown words. Haunting. Cinematography is beautiful. You must see it. I keep my fingers crossed he will return to Nightwish. He's such a gem. He also won the Finnish Masked Singer. You won't believe the songs he sung on that show. Backstreet Boys and Prince's Kiss. Video quality is just fine, it's more recent than Wacken. But you seem to use the non hd version of it. Usually it's better to view the fullHD version and let OBS downsacale it to the window you capture. But this is one of may (many) favorites, th e last riff with Troy and Marko is soo good.

I was wondering, if u like, there is more Finish metal bands that i think u would like. Just to say few: Poets of the Fall : Late goodbye and Sonata Arctica : Broken. If u haven't heard of them I seriously recommend that u give them a chance. They are both little old by now but older are usually better. If u want to know how Troy makes those sounds with his guitar, the gadget he's holding is called an E-Bow. It has a magnetic field that keeps the wanted string vibrating creating the heard effect.

I really hope Marko returns, but in all honesty, I don't think that's going to happen. He never even hinted about something like that. He said we might see him again after a year, but he never said it was going to be with Nightwish. There were two reasons for his departure, mental health problems,and corruption in the music business. And the last worsened the first. The corruption would still be there if he returned to Nightwish. My only hope is Marko makes an appearance during the live shows this weekend, to say goodbye.

Stayin' Alive! Marco did a song with his brother and band in "Henry's" pub closing session, earlier this month.

He did the one song with Zachary, as well as his solos song Isäni ääni, but it was Henry's Pub house band that backed them. Tarot hasn't played together since Pecu Cinnari died in 2016. They haven't officially disbanded as far as I know, but they've also said they didn't know if they had the heart to carry on without him, as he was there from the beginning along with the Hietala brothers.
