this whole album is amazing. it was such a fresh breath of air from Ilejay's drumwork. hail to the king had great potential but the drums were so weak it just didnt real like a true a7x album. wish theyd remaster hail to the king with brooks writing in the drum parts.

I wish they would play deep cuts off City of Evil and WTF, even if Shadows sung reworked lower melodies or sung parts that were originally screamed, and even if the live guitar parts wouldn't faithfully represent the recording (which on CoE the guitars cannot because there were often 5 going on at once)

it happened because on this album matt did not duplicate his voice on vocal layer, unlike his previous albums which duplicated his voice on one layer

@@Yebeee03 Well yea there’s not as many layered vocals on the Stage, also Matt’s voice just changed a bit. He’s still the goat, but when he belts high notes it sounds a bit different than his previous stuff. Happens to every singer as time goes on

@@matthewmayuiers yep i agree with you, on the other matt has also had multiple vocal chord surgeries and because of that he had to change his vocal technique and singing style no matter what their results are, we as fans must continue to support them and let's look forward to the next album that will be released

Its a bit of an improvement, but far from the shadows I knew. People still say he's in his vocal prime and sounds better than ever, I'm like, have you heard any of their material before 2016?
