One of the cutest, and funniest of the TOMY robots, is the CrackBot. Also known a the Sucharaka Bot in Japan. It walks with a bump and go action swinging its arms in a joyous manner. When a loud noise is made, it stops, moves its head, and makes a noise. Then it continues on its way.

every time you open a tomy robot it is amazing to see how even if they were toys they were really robots

Have you ever considered building your own custom robot from scratch? Your knowledge of parts, operations, and design is extensive. And 3D printing would let you create anything! I'd love to see what you could come up with. Call it the From Scratch Challenge.

well would you look at this little guy! Isn't he just a busy little business guy off to go do his business. Nice jobe on this one. I thought I remembered most of the Tomy ones, but I seem to have forgotten the crack one.

Hi Randi. I was watching your Mattel Verti Bird video and you wanting to fill the 3D printed control. Not sure if you are aware that adding baking soda to a glued joint will not only fill it, but also strengthen it. I’ve seen this done on die-cast car repairs and wondered if it would work in plastics. Like your repairs. Very good for self-taught enthusiast. ❤

I've used it before in some videos. I'm really not a fan of it, because it's brittle. In some cases it works fine, but most of the time there's better ways.

@@RandiRain Ah. I haven’t used it myself, so wasn’t aware of it being brittle. Anyhow, your repair and then making a new copy was probably the best solution. That way you got a complete cast with no reglued breakages. I’d probably have (eventually - after much frustration) have twigged to your solution, so kudos for being smarter than me. Love your little scratch-built robot. 😂🏅

What great timing! I just grabbed one of these that's in need of some love, so this will save me a headache and a few words. Been watching your channel for about a week now and really enjoying your content. Thanks!

Well there you go. That is good timing. Hope it helps. It's not that hard of a fix. Just remember that the insides don't orientate like you think they would.

I love your channel, Randi. You always do a great work. Thanks for that! Btw, do you know the R.O.B. from Nintendo? That would be a nice video to watch. They always fail on bad gears. Greetings!
