Very nice review. Even though the articulation might not be the best, I still really like the Decidueye figure! I'm definitely going to pick it up if I see it! :D

I thought I would never find this set, But My sister wanted to go to Toys R Us one last time today and I actually found one. They had three or so left it was amazing, I wish the green collar was either cloth or a very soft plastic. He deserves better Arm and head movement, But still a nice display piece to go along the rest. It might be possible to hack off the collar and probably replace it with a custom fabric one or something.

Decidueye was the only figure out of the Alola Starters I was able to obtain. Back then, I had no Idea you had to go to GameStop and Barnes And Nobles to get the rest. I was basically what people say “A Toys R Us kid” back then and I assumed the rest of the starters are would be at Toys R Us as well. Now Incineroar and Primarina are overpriced AF in the aftermarket while Decidueye remains in the 40 dollar category brand new. Hopefully Jazwares creates all the Alola Starters and give Decidueye better articulation where he can actually utilize them.

Unfortunately, some companies are abhorrent about communicating exclusives. Back then, when posted, yes, if you were online and keeping the pulse on this, you probably saw what was what. But like you? You would NEVER know.
