This is dedication!! I always wondered how Gibson and Ibanez, etc managed to make all those cool inlays. Now I know. I am thinking of trying this myself this winter if I find I have the guts to do so, I will be doing it on a piece which will be against wood, so no black paint to cover up with, however, using dust to fill the gaps is a good idea, i assume just using really fine dust from the same wood as I am adding the inlay to will do just fine. Anyway, thanks for a gorgeous video. Cheers!!

Thanks for the ideas. I tried the model glue to hold the MOP in place and it worked great. I had two dragonfly's inlays cut into parts - head, tail, and 4 winds each. So gluing them on was a lot better than trying to use a stencil because I decided to flip the body on one. That way they looked like they were going in different directions. Gluing them made it easy and is how I will do it from now on.

What glue is attached to stick the drawing on the mother-of-pearl? 2 What measure or thickness of saw is used to cut the design? 3 What glue is used to stick the design on the wood to mark it before using the router? 4 What model and measure of router bit is used to empty the wood? 5 What glue is used to stick the cut design and to mix with the wood powder? I apologize for so many questions since I have searched many inlays videos in Spanish but they do not explain very well. I would really appreciate your time. greetings from Chile
