I feel bad sometimes for not being able to show up for my friends. The older I get, the more homebody I become. But maybe it's because I'm doing a Masters while working. Weekend is my alone time 😢

I feel the same, but I think true friendship comes when they understand and still show up in each other's lives in various ways other than physical contact

It's tough! it takes a lot and sometimes it's okay to prioritise ourselves and our work. ESPECIALLY when it's a very busy season. It's about finding harmony and balance, and finding different ways to show up for our friends (as well as communicating what stage we are at in our lives). Allowing them to show grace, and vice versa ❤

This topic is right on time with the season we’re in and the fact that you guys are continually addressing and discussing things that affect so many of us around the world is so refreshing! A space where we can feel heard and know we are not the only ones going through it, but also find solutions to our issues….the journey may have been hard but know that you are impacting many!! We love you Renee and Courtney 🫶🏾🫶🏾 More grace to you guys for this amazing vision.

For me it’s more about stifling my confidence because I don’t want to appear arrogant to people around me. So I tend to downplay so many achievements as I don’t want to do too much or be intimidating. Thank you so much ladies for this video!

Thank you, ladies, for discussing this topic! I love how you focused on being confident in Christ rather than just outward confidence-it’s something I strive for too. Your point about feeling comfortable in a space before inviting others in made me think about emotional confidence-learning to sit with and navigate emotions before being vulnerable. I’d love to hear your thoughts on confidence that isn’t based on validation. God bless you both!

This conversation was so good. It was really liberating, I must say especially as a person(Christian woman) who's currently working on her confidence.

Listening to this episode on a Tuesday morning after spending the last 4 months applying for summer internships. People who knew I was pursuing this tell me I gave it my best but the perfectionist in me keeps nitpicking certain mistakes that were made and I'm sure if care was not taken, I would not have even made the attempts to apply for internships in the first place. Sure I didn't get any but now I have the experience to better navigate next year for new grad programs. Still stings though 😂

No and THIS is the thing. I feel like people who say “only God can judge me” actually have spent little to no time reading and understanding the Word of God. I can absolutely promise you you do NOT want God to judge you 😫😭. Stay on the grace and mercy package because if you get the judgement package oh boy 🫠
@baqiahlimmy11415 күн бұрын
I don't understand this message. All judgment belongs to God. Judgment is not man's job to do at all
@TheKaRenaLee5 күн бұрын
@ spend more time reading your words and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and comprehend Gods teachings correctly. Here are some verses you can read Matthew 18:15-17 , Galatians 6:1 , James 5:19-20 , Ephesians 4:15 . God is not a man that he should lie therefore if you study the word you’ll see Gods teachings are the same . We as believers are called to correct one another in love. There’s also plenty of lessons in the Bible pointing to leading others astray and how we’d be in trouble for that. So, if I know you’re stunning and I just let you under the idea “only God can judge them” I’m doing you and I a disservice while actively disobeying God.

Hey, I absolutely love you ladies and your content. However, I'm more like a religious subscribed view. I'd love to attend one of the events/trips you host. I missed the one in Cape Town and only found out about it after it happened (I was so sad) and I'm based in South Africa. How does one stay clued up about the trips?
