Weed is LEGAL in the USA now, it's called Delta 8-THC found in Hemp, a psychoactive analog of Delta 9-THC, Delta 8 works, but it's legal here now! IT feels plenty spiritual to get high when you're not worried about the fuzz.
@xavifdz70953 жыл бұрын
Tom, can you make a video about HPPD? It’s kinda related to DP/DR and it would completely be academic to a lot of people who want to try psychedelics for the first time but want to know all the real dangers that are out there.
@Beefwelliington3 жыл бұрын
The Aboriginal quote that Jarrad is talking about at 4:00 is "We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home" and if anyone has had a powerful psychedelic experience I'm sure they would also entertain the thought that when we do die we go back to where we came from. Also the the Aboriginal Boomerang wasn't just a hunting weapon it represented of going out to the world when you elave home and then come back home and also anything that you throw out to the universe till always come back to you.
@tobyjohnson27712 жыл бұрын
Thats beautiful and I agree with you, but I just have to say I spoke to and indigenous fella once about Boomerangs, he was showing me a proper hunting (not recreational) one from his people. He said verbatim 'anyone who is dumb enough to try to catch this thing deserves to get hit' Its a nice thought to entertain still! Maybe there's something in that too, like we just have to fully let some things go and never try to catch them again ;)

I remember that quote from The World's End; Jarrad ironically left out arguably the most important part: "We want to be free! We want to be free to do what we want to do, we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time, and that's what we're gonna do!"

Great video Tom, I asked myself this question yesterday. I'm undecided whether the thought paths from weed and psychs are productive and healthy or actually just overly distracting and unnecessary...

i love your material so much. You dont just take drugs and talk about drugs on film, you are trying to discover yourself from within. I found myself with San Pedro, which happened after years of psychedelic drugs and abusing substances i shouldn't have ever touched. We are all searching for the light, but we look everywhere but within. When sassy the sasquatch said that I knew my next trip would be incredible for who iam, i finally found myself and stopped taking alot of substances. The spiritual path is incredible, but once you go in you cant go out. Keep up the good work.

Everything in your life is spiritual, your whole life no matter what you do is spiritual , spiritual doesn’t just mean practicing spiritual things like meditation, or eating healthy , but in reality it’s even the fails and the bad things you do because that’s all part of the journey 🙏🔮🌎

Recently my grandfather passed, suddenly from a stroke. He was the healthiest person ive known, he never smoked, mever drank, would wake up and excersize every ewrly morning for his whole life, he would take me rock climbing and cave exploring. Then one day he just died. Now, his wife, her whole life she has smoked over a pack of cigarettes a day and she had to get his service ready and funeral and everything. Basically qhay im getting at is, you can live your lofe in the healthiest way or the oppasite, you never know when yojre gonna go. You can be heslthy as ever and still pass on before someone whos lived a life of smoke and drink. So do what you wsnt to enjoy. Just make sure you have stories to tell in the end.

My HPPD had gotten better, it used to be pretty noticeable but I've taken a year off psychs/microdosing and just smoke weed now. Physical activity i think helps a lot, I do strength training and jiu jitsu and being so in the moment and in touch with your body helps alleviate the symptoms

@IsaacMerkouris3 жыл бұрын
gotta space it out because your tolerance would’ve been higher since you would’ve been coming down off the lower 1 gram, also has to do with what you’ve eaten in the day. if you had big meals that can also dim the visuals and effects, make sure you know what strain of shrooms you are doing as well and weigh them accurately they all work differently. if you’re planning to do them again do a 2-2.5gram dose and don’t eat much throughout the day keep ur stomach empty. safe trip my guy 🖖🏽

I think figuring out that there is no IT, is it. (Or whatever the equivalent term for discovering that would be). There is no right way to live. You’re going to live your life the way you’re going to regardless of what you do. We’re always striving for the it. You might not experience enlightenment, but the enlightened can’t have your experience, either. How could a human understand it’s place in the universe? And this can lead to nihilism - but it can also lead to profound gratitude. We’re human. Such is life.

This life is the journey (: you can start to meditate that is a foundational key for most spirituality it will offer you a grounded place to work from spiritually and emotionally you could also read some good spiritual books that call to you and maybe start writing out positive affirmations about the way you feel too manifest good things and create your own reality!

Let’s say we are spiritual consciousness who dip into these meat body’s so to experience and learn things. Sherly the whole point of doing this is to enjoy the materialism of life? Are we wasting our time by meditating and detaching ourselves from the materialistic? when we die will our sols be like “fucking waste of time I did nothing but meditate and take psychedelic drugs that are in themselves virtual realities?

Sure, you're still human.. but those things dont help you become more conscious.. doesnt mean that should be your only goal in life.. but... that's the fate of human evolution, rising in consciousness and flowering out of the mud of our primal instincts and unconscious functioning.. most of them were not aware of but we can see the potential of humans like that - buddha, jesus, osho, lao tzu, socrates, etc.

So if we were captives on an alien planet, and there were millions of humans in cages. We were being systematically bred and then slaughtered to be eaten. The living conditions were worse than hell, from the day you were born until the day you died you suffered and your death was also the most painful imaginable. If the aliens then said to you, "respect my spiritual journey".. "no one is perfect".. would you give two fucks about their opinion, or realise it's rubbish and at heart what they were doing is grotesquely evil and whether acceptable or not should be stopped.
@davidjohn50573 жыл бұрын
I asked mother Ayahuasca once why she didn't encourage everyone to go vegan for the obvious reasons.. she just said "I've made more people vegan than you have".. LOL, well that's fair, and I shut up. But I've no idea why it's not one of her primary objectives because it fixes so many of the other things she helps people realise as well.
