Hurray :D I was waiting for this! I really enjoy how clear you are with your explanations. Would love to do my own stereo recordings in the future, when I have the space for that. Here's a suggestion for a future video: how about when you have someone like me, who is primarily working in a DAW with VSTs - do you have advice when it comes to creating a convincing soundscape in a situation like that? In my case, it's due to limitations in my living space btw

Thank you! What are you trying to record? I think you can get great sounds in a living room when you mic close and find complementing mics. It just needs a very different approach in the mix from recording in acoustically ideal places

@@martynheynemusic I mean that I produce entirely "in the box", digitally. I recognize that purely digital synths / mono samples and such will never appear as convincing as a solid stereo recording, but I wonder if you have any advice when that's the limitation? In terms of creating a close to convincing space. I'll keep your advice in mind for the future though!
