Tones in music are like colors in painting. Painters have their color palette to create different visuals and we, the guitarists, should also have the ability to create different sounds and describe different variety of emotions : happiness, sadness, dark, bright, excitement, disappointment, surprise…
Initially we all are taught to play clear notes at early guitar lessons. But in reality and at higher levels you must be able to add different colors in your performance. The life would be too dull with just one color, wouldn’t it?
In this video I am talking about the tones and colors for classical guitar.

Much appreciated tips. Could you give me some advice? I've heard that we need to pluck on top of strings to get a softer, fuller sound. But when I do this, especially with my thumb, say on the third string, I have to change my angles, which comprises with my speed and precision. I found this while trying to play tremolo. What would be your advice? Thanks
