I listen to these old tunes and it takes you back to the 80's teenage years and Tipper and the PMRC helped a lot of bands make millions extra by sticking an "explicit language " sticker on the album covers. I was a head banger growing up and have never questioned why I liked guys like Tone-Loc , Ice T , G M Flash . I just did and if you liked it you listen to it no matter the genre rights guys? It was just easier back in the 80's compared to today's world.
