Watched your video and tried your technique, I must say that the years of despair I had of lackluster tone was ended this morning. It's as if my guitar's real voice/colors finally shone thru. It sounds like a totally diff instrument. (I always believed before that KZbin videos had the audio digitally enhanced, now I realise it is not so.) What a great tip. Feels like Christmas. Can't thank you enough! You rock

After the last two sessions I now appreciate you more as a guitarist when I watch and listen to your videos. For example I watch your right wrist, the distance between your right and left hands, etc. while listening.

I really appreciate you explaining sounds like that. I've watched many of your videos and they are incredible. The way you handle your instrument while playing to every note that rings out with the roll of your fingers, it's perfect. Lately I found myself interested in classical guitar playing and it's heavily influenced by you.

Great lesson! You explain the things very well. Thanks for the class! Those details and possibilities of tone that the guitar can do is realy one the most fantastic things about that instrument, and you definitely materized it! Your insterpretations are one of bests that I ever seem!

It is so effective of you to take a very short passage, go deep and spend a good amount of time with how you can vary the tone and color. I sometimes wonder if The Royal College of Music in London would like to hire you as a teacher!

To be honest, when it comes to playing Sor’s Mozart variations, tone production is the least of my worries. That said, there are some great takeaways from these tone production videos and I’ve learned some interesting stuff, and I’ve been playing for 40 years! Don't read much into that, I'm still rubbish. Great tutorials Alexandra. And l love the fact that you talk with an accent my ears are used to. :-)

You are an extremely talented young lady on the guitar. I've been following you for a while and must say that your Classical guitar technique and sound is superior to many others on KZbin. I've been trying to learn the Classical guitar for a while now and will never be to the level you are I'm afraid. Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to young musicians everywhere.

fantastic video! I'm playing Bach's piece BWV 1007 and I wonder if I should apply variations to the tone or put accents in Bach music? Should I just keep the sound constant in terms of tone? btw I try to use different right hand angle like you but I can't notice any change in tone for my guitar. Is it because of my guitar or my nails?

If anybody has any knowledge or ideas about Alexandra AS A UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL (beyond the guitar, the strings, her nails, the movement of her wrists, etc.) in the amazing tone coming from her guitar please reply.

Thanks Ann for your comments. Just as the person cooking affects how the food tastes so does the violinist, the guitarist, etc. affect the sound coming out of their instrument. Stay safe!

Fantastic Alexandra, it's a privilege to sit in on a masterclass. I know that you are far beyond worrying about any puerile comments made on this platform, but if they are that concerned, why are they always anonymous? Take care and keep up the fab' work, from Lancashire. ❤🎸🎶
