This is a revelation! Would especially be useful for the Britten solo suites.

Thanks so much! This is very helpful! Now that I'm finished with my Chopin piano recital, I can start focusing more on cello and will be hitting Yampolski more in my practice session. Yampolski was recommended to me by the principal cellist of a local symphony orchestra. Yampolski has a lot of double stop etudes.

I love this video. I started practicing the CMajor scale in JM’s thirds/fourths pattern after watching his “watch me practice” video a few months back. I wish I had kept it up. The sound, when tuned correctly, can be pleasant. I was mostly interested in intonation improvement, but from this explanation there are even more benefits. Thank you, Maestro.

Our intermediate adult cello class is studying Just Intonation and Pythagorean Tuning.... Your exercises are great and I'm wondering how you incorporate intonation training into those various double-stop exercises?

Great exercises but he reminds me of actor David Warner from James Cameron's Titanic movie.
