As a musician, I understand the level of proficiency each player must bring to the table to make the song "work" the way it was created. This seems deceivingly easy but it seldom is ... I am amazed at the entire production of a cover and the class act you guys/gals achieve.

I just discovered your cover band Sept 16, 2020. I live in Oregon City, Oregon where a lot of the wildfires have been in Oregon. I heard your cover of Def Leppard's Photograph and was all smiles and so blown away. Then, l heard Boston's Foreplay/It's been a longtime and it was so exactly like Boston that l cried tears of joy and tears because America has been under a lot of stress and it just took me back to the old days of music. Thank you all so much! I just kept on listening and watching you guys do so many songs and right cue l am so blown away and needed this so much right now. You all are truly rock stars! LLB is the best example of a project based cover band I have come across! It is like a slow cooked stew.....all the best ingredients are put in and slow cooked to perfection. You pull the best talent you have, let them learn their individual parts, and put those talented people together in an ideal sound mix...and the magic happens. Good music always survives. LLB produces some of the best covers that pay tribute to the original song artists and keeps that music alive for a new generation. It is one thing to play a song, and quite another to perform a song the way the original artists performed it. LLB does this and more so well.

Thank you, I just turned 70 on 1-11-21 and just when I think I have found the majority of the best band's on KZbin, I found you wonderful people yesterday! Like alot of people I played in bands when I was younger and we would have our OMG moments on stage when it felt like what we always strove to accomplish, happened, just comfortably almost like magic happened, Oh what a feeling! But as usual I digress. To hear and SEE what all of you bring to so many people is just many notches above joy. To have been to so many concerts in my life where certainly not all but quite a few were just off. Maybe because the band was having a bad night or the sound people just didn't get it tweaked right or on quite a few occasions I was over tweaked. ! In closing, again I thank you for bringing me up close where many times I just got bad seats, and for giving me the sound that I so many times missed. I have more than a few videos of Lexington to catch up on, and I hope that you will continue to love what you are doing for a very long time. More Thanks,, Randy

I spend lots of time chasing around KZbin and I just stumbled upon LLB... WoW.... I’m bingeing down memory lane... I really think this therapeutic.... You folks are flippin AMAZING... I’m making associations within the songs back to my high school days...I’m 57. I was fortunate to have grown up listening to the music you folks play... the Doobies, AeroSmith, U2, Etc etc etc.... I’m an instant huge fan... sign me up for a t-shirt... I would happily drive from my home in Central Texas to be present for a viewing of the rehearsal and filming of a group, don’t really care which group, as you do them all so well... I haven’t found it yet, but I’m off looking for Billy Thorpe Children of the Sun... and anything else I can find... Your listeners are always anxiously awaiting the "next project".

Lexington Lab is the definitive cover band/project which respects the integrity and vitality of the bands that they cover. The cumulative talent is extraordinary. I think they could go further and write and record songs faithful to the typical style that they cover.

Funny, about 30 minutes in Dale says about people still discovering LLB and saying they aint getting anything done...that is exactly what has happened to me today! I am COVID working from home and put KZbin on for some background noise and discovered LLB. Every video/song is fantastic! Totally blown away by the musicianship and craft that all of the participants bring to the table. I have played and gigged for a number of years and would say that I am 50% talent / 50% winging it!! LLB are 100% talent, period, and they really do bring the energy to the room too. What really grabbed me was the Boston stuff. I love that first Boston album and hearing Peace of Mind and Foreplay/Longtime played so authentically is really satisfying. Thanks for sharing with the world guys!

I've been a musician since 1978, and I'm only 43 years old. This is something I've always wanted to try to get together with people here in my area in Alabama. You guys are playing all the songs I've played and grew up listening to all my life. You guys and ladies are awesome and I'm so glad I stumbled onto this and I am an avid listener now to all the Lexington Lab Band and The Tone Dr music! Love you guys!

As a fellow musician, it is easy to see that you love what you do and all get along well. All of you are awesome musicians and singers. I have played a lot of these songs over the years, and to see the time and effort you put into this is phenomenal. I play because I love music. I have seen quite a few of your videos, and I will sometimes close my eyes and listen. I swear that I am listening to the original artist. I truly enjoy watching the videos, and it makes me want to work harder to sound more like the original band. Thank all of you for what you do! It's a joy watching and listening to you!

Often, documentaries such as this seem like bands attempting to promote their band and their music. After listening to many of this band’s songs, I believe they feel every word they speak. From the first song I heard, I was in love with this band and their music.

I am six nine years old ... use to play in a band as a youngster .... we played these very songs .... I get a lump in my throat ... really miss those days ... I discovered LLB during the covid lockdown in our country, South Africa ... I have sent links to the remaining four members of our old band .... every one of them are hooked now ... It is so good to see the enjoyment the musicians feel .... the quality is superb ... i enjoy these videos so much THANK YOU FOR ALL THE EFFORT ! .............. Just a foot note ....... anybody can use a looper or beat box .... but how many can .....play a real lick ... sing a lyric with expression ... make the instrument talk with ones fingers ..... or brass with ones wind .... that's a musician .... compose lyrics the have meaning !

The music of our lives will remain in good hands as long as LLB keeps devoting the love and the passion you all exude. The musicians and vocalists are truly gifted. Nashville has nothing on Lexington. Keep it rolling boys and girls. God bless you all and thanks for sharing your glorious gifts. I actually enjoy your covers more than the original artists because you all seem so... nice! And this behind-the-scenes look is just another marvelous gift for music lovers.

Wow - that was the only word I found myself saying after discovering you today. Heard your cover/tribute to Boston and was immediately hooked. Your players ability to capture the tone, detail and nuance of the music was....well, Wow! The videos clearly show your respect for the original music through your obvious enjoyment to play it and without any theatrics. The musicianship shines. Can't seem to say enough - but hope you get the idea...loved it. So, this child of the sixties says "Thank You All".

This channel popped up in my recommended videos about a week ago, and I've been checking out some of your others. I've been playing rock drums for 64 years now, and I haven't stopped yet. I guess once music is in your blood, it never leaves. I've played in many local bands in the DC/Baltimore areas, and we've played many songs you all play in your videos. Being a musician myself, I can honestly say that this is some of the finest work I've ever seen. Every single one of you is a top-of-the-line musician/singer, and you all look like you're having fun while recording it. Even though it's a lot of hard work for everybody, I know how much fun it is to play music. I hope you all continue to do this for a long time, because I know I'm only one of thousands who enjoy watching and listening to all of you play, record and produce your work. Thanks for sharing it with us. Best wishes from Maryland, and stay safe.

I remember hearing Hitch a ride a while back and thinking, what in the world is this, someone is playing Boston to a friggen tee and I listened to it a few times and then drifted away. I listen to the same type of music and through searching youtube, I found my way back to Hitch a ride again. I go online to learn songs as a learner and all of a sudden, I get inspired by such class in your band of wisdom. What a great idea to cover songs and bands so beautifully. Everything is so to a tee from guitar to voices. Sure there are areas that can't be matched perfectly, but damn I don't think you can replicate very much to a tee. Most artists can't even replicate their own professionalisms. After watching this video of how it was all done, I definitely wasn't surprised to hear the outcome knowing everyone is at such a level of happiness lost in music. One of the most precious things in life is music. To hear copies of a band like Boston which is almost perfection is unbelievable. Never thought I would hear guitar, bass, drums, keys and definitely not voice like that. Truly inspiring to me. Will definitely listen to more and more to see the growth of such class. Cheers to all musicians and makers of this creation. Simply dynamic.

I've been a HUGE LLB fan for years - and somehow, I just came across this video (about how the band works) - I'm even a bigger fan now than before - I have so much appreciation for the talent, passion, and commitment of these performers! And getting to know each of the band members has been a great "peeling back the layers" moment for me. Thank you Dale, and all of the LLB members - keep rockin'!

I have to say I just discovered Lexington Lab Band less than a year ago, more like 4 or 5 months. This resonates with me. In a way it reminds me of the music videos back when Mtv played music, but it's more than that. I am drawn deeply into the intimacy of great music and passionate musicians. I will watch videos repeatedly to catch nuances of style. Even the vocals, for awhile I worried that the female backup singers were witches their voices were so hypnotic! Additionally, I love watching the musicians play these songs. More than notes on a page, I can see how they bend, fold , and shape tones to give the unique sounds that really made these songs hits. Perhaps more than all of this I enjoy being a part of the experience through the videos. The camera crews do a good job of making it seem like we are simply there in an intimate setting with a group of talented friends just having our minds blown. This happened once when I was in the Navy. Walking back to our berthing area, I heard the EAGLES being played in a space beyond ours. I walked back to find not a boom box on 11, but five or six fellow Nukes playing their guitars together. Their skill blew me away. The LLB is that same feeling times 1000. Thank you for doing this for us - and for rescuing music from the dumpster fire that is the current music industry.

As a 52 year old circuit musician in Philly/New Jersey I take great joy in seeing this caliber of musicianship being demonstrated not only across the musical genres but the inclusion of youth that is utilized in your performances. To everyone who participates in the performance and production of these projects I say You Rock and don't stop. On a side note Dale thank you for your guitar lessons on (tonedr) you have taught me many songs "properly" enabling me to present these tunes to my band members and in turn we were able to pull them off so Thanks. Keep up the Great work.

As i stated somewhere else before, i've been an accomplished musician for over 55 years. Listening to y'all just blows me away. The chemistry it takes to just keep a small group of musicians together is a huge undertaken, but to accomplish what y'all have done? Many folks just don't know the amount of work that goes into a production! As i stated, it blows me away. i am so happy i found y'all. Get yourselves down to Texas and i'll be there, wearing a Lexington Lab Band t shirt!
