I am blown away at how mix ready the guitar presets can be. This plug-in alone in trial has convinced me to buy it. Had to call a buddy and talk about how crazy it is for an hour. Using this over Neural,line6 and every other brand. Amazing.

I just downloaded the trial and the moment I opened it, I didn’t change any of the settings for about 30 minutes. Right out of the box, it’s incredible! Usually with plugins, I don’t like how they have such a loud bass presence, which isn’t always the heavy sound and with 7 strings, they’re just not that great. I was blown away at how much this plugin compliments my EBMM Jason Richardson 7, and now I feel like the sound of the guitar can actually be felt. As a computer engineer, the tech in this plugin is a real sleeper. The DI match, the mode/tuning switches, and the way it seems like it understands which string I’m hitting, I can honestly say this plugin is fucking incredible guys, great job to everyone involved!

Pitch shifting in real time is a very complicated problem that science has not really solved yet. At best, current solutions are simply work arounds to the problem.

Possibly stupid question concerning the DI: How do you get your hands on an artist's DI? Basically what I want to do is take the guitar tone from a song and replicate it in the plugin. I saw Dino's DIs in the video, but how can I get any others, does it have an option to insert an audio file for the plugin to analyze or is there some other way

Should make a separate plugin with just the DI match tech and a physical analog pedal too. Capture your favorite brand new strings profiles once and play on shitty strings as much as you want, maybe even make an acoustic electric sound metal!

To be honest, this DI match thing didn't work for me (I mean, it won't make the sound any better) but you can set up quite good sounds with both the 'Replica' and 'Protomech' amps, so it's a good stuff for a fair price.

Which profile did you match to? How did you capture your own source profile? The more sounds / notes you play, the better the profiles become. We recommend you actually create your source profile by loading in a 3-4 minute DI file recorded from the guitar.

@@joeymusic I'll take your advice. Don't get me wrong, it can be useful, this is just my experience. But I also think about the active circuit that someone should have a guitar with an active pickup if they want an "active pickup sound". For me, Disruptor already meets my expectations simply because I can get a good high gain sound out of it. :)
