Balance is good. 4th position (bridge and center)is not so "straty" for me. It depends on your needs and taste.

It's so hard to find the right pickups. I have the classic blues and to my ears they are fantastic and every bit as good as Fenders offerings @@Shashli4ok

Great tone, I agree, but "distortion makes every pickup sound the same" is really the opposite of the truth. Many single coils that sound identical on the clean channel will start to show more and more difference as you turn that gain pot on your amp/pedal.

It louder, but its easy to make balance by adjusting heigh of pickup.
