However, someone she thought was her friend and confidant set her up after the friend got romantically involved with Harold. Tonesa explained how she avoided going in a bar after getting a bad vibe, but Harold beat her to her house, plowed into her car, and started beating her up. You can hear the full story above.

Gotta notice a person, find a payphone to page someone, they have to recieve the page, find a land line or payphone to call said person back but only if it's a landline and stayed by the phone, recieve the message, if it's a club they never been to they gotta find directions etc. Just know shit like that was a lot easier to do then

Evidently even with all that if he wasn't looking for her she could've stayed low-key from others who weren't necessarily looking for her, but also don't want them to know she is in town. It's documented that he used to beat the crap outta her so her divorcing him isn't the problem, the problem was her starting a new relationship with one of his workers. She should've known better than to pull a stunt like that, she should've backed out the game and went and got with a guy with no ties to the organization. Prior to 2000 America did a horrible job of protecting women in abusive relationships in my hood the guy might be arrested and released the same day. But when the woman had enough and killed him in his sleep which was the only time she had an advantage, even with a documented history of abuse she would get serious prison time.
