Everything sounded pretty decent. I use my ToneX with my Stomp and that has worked out really well. I will have to see when the update comes out how I might use effects with the Tonex1. I use two captures in the HX loop. An AC30 and a Fender Deluxe. I love my Stomp effects, especially the Dynamic Reverbs and Delays.

Yea I got the beta setup on Saturday and didn’t have much time to play around with it before playing with it live. I set everything up on my computer. But now I figured out how to scroll through the parameters. It works great.

Nice video. Now that we know what the Tonex pedal is capable of, we need more effects. More, more and more! (laugh). I hope that this update wasnt "just" an awnser for the kemper player updates/cortex nano. They need to keep bringing some new effects, as you say.. new delay/reverbs(ambiente ones) would be awesome.

Dude it sounds SO GOOD. With the delay and saving BPM per preset, it’s giving me some food for thought as to why we need tap tempo when we sync to click and tracks anyway.

Because many of us would rather quit playing music than become a slave to click track. Live music is supposed to breathe, to ebb and flow. I will NEVER play live to a click. Now I’m not trying to be offensive, and to each their own; this is not a moral issue. But I will NEVER do it

Great tones! I love my Tonex and can’t wait to try the update when it comes out. Quick question, when you switch between patches is there a volume drop? I’m assuming we can’t turn on and off individual effects so I will probably set up like mentioned and have one patch with just the amp and reverb, then have another patch with same amp with modulation etc…

Yea it does cut the delay and reverb trails when you switch presets. I was able to do it pretty smoothly. Something you have to work around.

Great tones. Currently, have the Tonex1. I've been contemplating going for the bigger one for a few more switching/preset options etc. Think this update will give me the reason to go for it! Especially if the new efffects can be switched by a midi controller on the big pedal.

Does the TONEX copy the amps with effects included ? Then just use the TONEX amps with and without effects ?

I have used it in the past and it works well. I just wanted to have a tuner for this setup to quickly mute the beginning of my chain.

How is the compression from the tonex instead of hx stomp? I think the reverbs and delays are not so ambiental

Does anyone here happen to know if it's possible (or what the best course of action is) to increase the overall output of the Tonex pedal (without adding any gain) beyond just what the master volume can do? I noticed it's awfully quiet going through my Headrush FRFR 112 speaker compared to what it could be, but not sure if there's a way to fix that?

You can turn up the model volume per preset to increase volume. On the big pedals it me on the bottom left knob. On the Tonex one you might have to do it in the software.

@@sundaytone If you've got a compressor setup on your preset (POST), do you need to just use the compressor's gain instead since it overrides the presets volume knob? Also, thanks a ton for the assist. It's been driving me nuts, and what a simple way to resolve it (assuming it doesn't cause clipping by doing that?)

IK Multimedia is holding out on this update. It's driving me crazy! How is everyone getting to post videos if the update isn't available? Updates are given out to people who are registered as beta testers. I'm sure if you get involved with the beta testing program, you as well could get an opportunity to get these in advance. But to claim you're going to sell all your gear by IK when they're still getting the bugs out of the program it's kind of hilarious bro.
