I love the stages in VF5. Aesthetically pleasing, but also it’s cool how they legitimately have an effect on the way the match is played. I’m pumped, thought it was dropping tomorrow for some reason. As it stands now, I’ll be at my office getting some VF action in like 3 hours. 😊

Every stage along with their time of day changes should've been ported from VF5, VF5 5R and VF5 Final Showdown. The intro from the XBOX 360 version is the best intro and would've been nice as an extra. Since there sadly isn't a quest mode, it would've been nice to see some updates to the stages. Pai's stage looks as stiff as a bitmap background picture. Nonetheless, we all must keep in mind that this game is 20 years old with a cosmetic update. While still fun, it is indeed a very old game.

VF is truly THE BEST 3-D fighting game ever created. Think about this for a sec. The game is almost 15 years old (or maybe older), and all it took was a revamp to make this game look just as good as Tekken 8 😮😮😮😮. Hopefully VF6 will massively improve the character design and animations. Still can’t figure out who I want to main, every character looks so unappealing. Nevertheless I’m supporting this game because fighting games are my favorite genre and I bought the collectors edition and it’s downloaded, can’t wait to try it out.

Old VF 5 has better animations than Tekken 8 what are ou talking about..? Ok designs look like Yakuza NPC because it s been done in 10 monts , and the didn't have the time to bring the gorgeous VF5 CGI models. But animations ? Come on.. I try, and I try, and I just can't get hype about this game. The character models, customization, stages, presentation, combo length and round length all need to be improved. It's just no frills Tekken for weirdos who think fighting games are MMA simulators instead of fantasy games.

There's actually way more interactions and decisions per round in VF5 than there is in Tekken 8 I gotta be real also. If you see "not a lot happening" it's because some of the subtleties are muddied by the players being in each other's heads.

​@@KOJO_WINS VF is fights in phone booths a lot of the time. A lot of emphasis on forcing the issue, but not usually exploding for being wrong. T8 Heat system and the increased number of plus frame situations, paired with nerfed backdashes is in line with this increased interactions idea with an increased emphasis on aggression and sidesteps. However, moves in VF tend not to have the giant hitboxes on linear attacks, so the sidestepping as the space control is what works in VF as opposed to Tekken which has a different idea of space control.
