Punk is still winning with Cammy. Cool to see that the patch was a REALLY good patch. I'm not being sarcastic BTW, seeing Cammy get nerfed, but not to the point of unviability is great balance work on Capcom.

Giving slightly more recovery too Cammy was never gonna hurt Punk, Punk has the best neutral on earth, his whiff punishes are the best in the business.

@@Jack_Horner_is_a_hero I guess it depends what youre defining as big nerfs because her EX DP not side switching anymore is a pretty big nerf to her (though its more in line with the rest of the cast now). Also, the instant ex dive kick not getting a big punish from throw is kinda huge as well. Her nerfs were significant for her character but shes still pretty good.

Gaining drive bar during drinks is pretty important. Means your expenditure on using OD moves is overall lessened, so you can continue pressure. Makes lvl2 way more worthy as you saw. Sometimes it’s a net gain too. Beyond that STHK became a better poke, jHK can juggle without CH / PC, and the opps dont drop outta lvl3 supers as much iirc. Nerfs to other characters in ways where he can play footsies more helps him too. Overall it’s not gonna make him top tier but definitely lets him fight a lot more and be more consistent of a threat.
