Toni Braxton is my favorite vocalist above all others, male or female, that I have listened to throughout my lifetime.

Why are talented artists like Toni not paid enough?
@TheColeTruth4 жыл бұрын
La face was giving shitty record deals. I mean she got exposure but the company took most the millions and screwed over Toni, TLC, etc. But she eventually got better deals and her well deserved $$$ in the end.
@Ninja_Turtle3192 жыл бұрын
@@TheColeTruth This, that and I don't know how much and album was back then but now it's around 30-20 dollars per album (if physical) she was only getting paid 30 cents as the rumour goes, so if an album sells 13 Million? $30 x 13M = $39,000,000. She was rumoured to only be getting 30 cents per album, she's only left with 3.9/4M. So you wonder why she had to go bankrupt
@321cheesehead Жыл бұрын
@@Ninja_Turtle319literally. She grossed 200 million for LaFace and they paid her a 1,900 check. also they were spending a lot of money on her and charging it back to her when some of the charges weren’t suppose to be recouped from her.

Did she only sing 2 songs. Normally singers would perform 3 or 4 songs for Today Show Summer Concert.
@RestlessRick3 жыл бұрын
The morning shows don't always air the ENTIRE show being put on usually right outside their studios. Depending on how much time they have based on other news stories they have to air, they will air as much of the concert as they can. That's why if you're in New York on one of those morning show summer concert days, it's best to attend the concert in person so you yourself can see the ENTIRE show.
@enlightnedonethirdeye63574 жыл бұрын
Yep, third cd was about the time she was brainwashed by the PTB to start transforming her look into a European (a.k.a White) girl. With the skinny body, straight light colored hair, and boney nose... The less attractive look. Might I add. Her skin today also looks rather light. I luv Toni tho, seems like such a sweetheart. But highly influenced.

Too much drama by her now. Sad but true, she was so much better in the beginning when this song became famous. Humility, reality and realness would be so much more appropriate, poor woman !!
