For those of you wondering if she’s lip-syncing, I saw her in concert earlier this year, and even at 52 years old, she sang every note live. A well-trained ear can hear the short breaths and the differences between this and a studio recording. Regardless, this woman remains one of the most classy, sultry, and soulful artists to ever grace the music industry. This was an emotional performance-and emotion is something most of today’s music industry lacks.

I agree! Over the last couple years I’ve lost interest with award shows but was flipping channels and the timing was right as her intro so there I was. I was not worthy or prepared to see Toni Braxton about to sing this song from like 25 years ago live right now. I was blown away, looking and sounding more beautiful than ever 😍

Anyone who's seen Toni live will tell you that she sounds exactly like that. I recently saw her in Johannesburg South Africa. She sang Unbreak My Heart with so much emotion (she was in tears), she saaaaang for her life. Every single note flawless and that highnote was amazing. If you have doubts saying "prerecorded" you may wanna rethink that. She is legend and you're sleeping on her as they say. Such class and poise undeniable. Absolutely beautiful.
